Wikipedia is not bad compared to other encyclopedias. It depends wholly on who writes the articles, as with other enclyclopedias.

There are excellent articles on arcane subjects, horrible ones on many popular ones.

It is mostly better than Britannica now (UC) in many areas, especially when well sourced.

But enclyclopedias have limited uses.
