  • big surprise powell chose race over party, blacks always stick together.

  • jo scar is a lame spinster - nice try on pigeon-holing Obama but the distinguished guest was too eloquent and intelligent for you to get any traction with - haha!

  • Colin Powell should be in prison along with Brzezinski.

  • MR, Colin Powell,my respect for you, always right at the right moment, always thinking in our country first, thanks for the great service to our nation, doesn't matter if you're Republican or Democrat always put our nation first, thank you good men

  • Bi-partisan? Colin Powell was never a Republican by heart. He sided with Republicans because they gave him prominence. Now that he sees the possibility of Democrats owning all forms of federal government, he sees himself in the spotlight again. He aligns himself with power. He didn't side with Clinton because Congress wasn't with Clinton. NOW, Its a power move. He's a self serving TOAD.

  • Can you back these claims up with any verifiable facts? Or was this one fresh out of your rectal sphincter?

  • Colin Powell did not side with Clinton. Clinton had a Republican congress. Clinton did side with Reagan, Bush, and Bush. They had a lot of power. Now, the democrats MAY control the whole government. Colin was never popular with the left. He was Uncle Tom Powell to them. NOW the left loves him so he can still be in prominence.

  • I meant Powell on the third Clinton.

  • There is a lot of evidence that Powell did NOT agree with George W. Bush with respect to going to Iraq. His presentation to the United Nations was based on "intelligence" from a well-arm-twisted CIA (Dick Cheney believes the CIA is incompetent) that LATER turned out to be wrong. He resigned as Sec. of State, certainly in part because GWB demands loyalty. While Powell was a faithful cabinet member in terms of carrying out his office, he did not SIDE with Bush.

  • How many times did Powell come out and disavow actions of the Bush administration? Powell didn't publicly trash him because he didn't want to lose power. Now that he sees Obama high in the polls, he feels comfortable and he endorsed him. Were McCain leading by 10 points, i speculate that Powell would not have endorsed anyone.

  • Hmmm... pure speculation that goes counter to Gen. Powell's known character. Speculation is more compelling when it's based in fact.

Far far more likely is that he didn't trash his Commander-In-Chief because you don't do that in the military. When it's game day, you either salute and execute with all your heart or you resign.

You're making Powell out to be some kind of political whore... on what basis? Give one example where Gen. Powell took a stand on politics rather than principle.

  • When he flirted with being president, he never said what party. Never said which platform. Never said anything. He was seeing which party was the most popular, but he changed his mind in the end.

  • Hmmm... I don't think we're agreeing on the level of intellectual rigor required here. Simply saying a thing does not make it so.

For example: you *THINK* he was hanging back to see which party was more popular. What makes you think that? Did you see him say something to that effect? Did he write something to that effect? Any evidence at all that he thought this way? Or is this entirely in your mind?

  • colin powell was never an uncle tom that i can def vouch for. rice was...not powell. he was just a decent man who stood for right. if he was an uncle tom, do u think he would leave the bush regime..... the military teaches u never to quit no matter what the course and see it through. u should really question y a 4 star decorated general would step down and say i want to spend time with my family. it shows u there had been dsagreement in the administration, thats y he stepped down

  • more like, he is a republican that was used and made fool of by the bush administation. karma is a bitch, huh?

obama is your next president. brace yourself!

  • LOL =- a Mccain administration would lead to WORLD WAR !

  • the last part of the msg of NSA Brzezinski is an AWAKENING for AMERICA...MR. Brzezinki Sir...Thank you...WELL SAID....

  • If Barak Obama is so revolutionary, why did America allow the most outspoken conservative revolutionary 'Ron Paul' slip from their hands.

If Obama's campaign promises needed change, does not Ron Paul's entire political career give evidence of the understanding and actual ability to follow through ???

  • Wow. This guy really represents the old world mindset of Tolstoy. I'll bet if you asked him to "tell you a story" you'd have two birthdays before it finished.

  • WOW!

  • Shame on you Joe to question a man (re Barack's experience) of the obvious intelligence of Brzezinski. Barack isn't running for a position in the NSA. He's running for president. And his style AND substance are something we haven't seen in the White House for decades. His admiration for Doris Kearns Goodwin and her book, Team of Rivals, tells me he'll be the best president of my adult lifetime.

  • is that danas dad?! or am i just hearing things

  • who's dana?u mean mika? Yep its Mikas dad!

  • I'm very interested to know if Palin will continue to challenge Obama's "terrorist" connections, when a man of Powell's stature and understanding can accept Obama is the better leader (and so is Biden).

If she does, we'll likely see Obama speak against her.

  • This guy is awesome!

  • Excellent video.
