  • This is the best crocheting video!!!!!!!

I learn how to crochet and this video helps me a lot. Thank you!!

  • I havent crocheted in over ten years and i love how she is so patient and explains everything she's doing

  • Best video I've seen thus far! Thanks for sharing & for being patient. You really have the gift of teaching! & Thanks to you, I think that I've grasp the basic stitches that you've taught! Thank you very much Aunt Esther, I truly learned from your two beginning videos!

  • wow i really liked the way you explained it it you make it look easy

  • Finally a video that explains that you skip the first stitch and actually shows it. I am going to check your other videos to see where it glues in the turning chain. Thank you I was almost ready to give up. I would love to see a towel topper being made in the near future

    Thank you again

  • Aunt Esther, thank you for being so patient and explaining so well. Good job with the camera work too. I can really see what she is doing. :)

  • you taught me how to crochet, Thanks ;-)

I will have to send you a picture when I finish

  • Thank you very much Aunt Esther.....your vidreos are so easy to follow...please do not stop !!! I am new to all of this. Will you be posting a video on a complete (very easy ) project??? Many Blessings...

  • Thank you so much for you wonderful video's. The only stich i knew was a single crochet until i say your video. I hope you continue to make more video's and show us more stiches. :)

  • Thank you, Aunt Esther!!! I taught myself to crochet from various videos on the net, but not one addressed what to do at the end of a row. I have been struggling with that for over a month. You answered all the questions I've accumulated in that time!

  • @___@ it's fascinating!! i'm gunna try my best at this!! though watching the yarn so carefully makes me kinda sleepy... it's hypnotizing...

  • Love Aunt Esther!!! Thanks for making these videos!!!!

  • I absolutely love how patient you are with us watchers. I was looking at other videos, and they just don't slow down. You and your aunt slow down and make it understandable. Thank you so much!

  • Thank you so MUCH!!! I have been wanting to learn how to crochet forever. I wanted something to keep my busy while my husband is deployed. I watched tons and videos and could never get it...then I saw yours and now im in the process of making my first blanket =)

  • Actually, I do know how to knit, also! I'll try to get some knitting videos going. I've got to learn how to do movie maker first, though.

  • These are the best crocheting videos on here. Thanks so much!

    = )

  • I'm so glad you've learned this fun, relaxing hobby!

  • Thanks a million! My mom taught me when I was young but I forgot bits & pieces. Other videos just don't compare, hope you'll make more.

  • We all need an Aunt Esther! She's so patient! :) Thanks again for posting these!

  • You're welcome!

  • Thank you sooooooo very much you two, I was just about to give up on the whole crochet thing because it was totally frustrating me BUT after watching this video I am ready to try a project!!! THANKS HEAPS (beginner crocheter from NZ)

  • So glad it has helped you! Does NZ stand for New Zealand? Hello from the US!

  • You & your Aunt Esther (my mom's name) are simply AWESOME. I had given this up many times. I have 4 grandkids (7months-7yrs) and I really want to make them blankets before they graduate from high school! Any suggestions on what type of pattern/afghan to start with?

  • Yes, I do have a suggestion for your blankets! After you chain your beginning row (which will be the width of your blanket), turn it around and single crochet in each chain stitch. Turn around again (remember to chain 3 here), and double crochet the single crochet stitches. Continue with more rows until it's the desired length. Good luck!

  • You and Aunt Ester are WONDERFUL. But, HELP. When I get to the end of my rows I seem to lose a stitch. I start out with 12 but after several rows I end up with 10-9-8. What am I doing wrong?

  • 9:00 to 9:25 counter on this video shows how to count your stitches - - this is what you need to do...

  • Oh yes, I also meant to say that you're probably skipping that last stitch on each row! Let me know how it goes!

  • what size needle do i use

  • sorry i was out of town i'll have my aunt answer you asap

  • Love this instruction! This was the first i've seen where the camera zoomed in on the stitch so you could see exactly where the needle was inserted. I like how you explained it in detail step by step! Excellent job. Saving this for future reference :) Natalie

  • I videotaped it for my aunt, but also for myself because lol I'll probably have to watch it a million times!

  • Thank you ever so much for getting me started, you two are fab, and I'm very excited about it thank you Aunt Esther for your help.

  • just doing what we can :)

  • This is so great!!! I have been trying to learn for the longest time but books just don't seen to get it, I need someone to SHOW me how to do it... and unfortunately I don't have an Aunt Esther. Thanks so much for your tutorials.

  • I'm that way too - we must be a cross between and visual and hands-on learners!

  • awesome teacher and editor. you guys are very in sync thank you so much for the videos.

  • Thank you! My niece and I have really enjoyed doing this project!
