Awesome Canadian band... from Nova Scotia!! :) I hope they eventually get recognized outside our borders. Hate it when supreme talent gets ignored jsut because they are Canadian and we don't know how to market internationally... The Tea Party, Lisa Dalbello are other awesome talents from the 80s and 90s that somehow got overlooked. Check them out on YouTube then check out the pathetic number of views they get compared to lesser talent.

The Trews played live in Bobcaygeon last night (June 25th) as a opening band for The Tragically Hip. They sold the show. They "Rock". They were by far the best of the four acts (Missy Elliot, The Trews, Sam Roberts and the Not so Hip (poor performance). It was worth the 12 hour drive only because the Trews played so well.

saw these guy in Barrie a couple months ago, it was a fucken terrific performance. They are just as good if not better than most bands out there, unfortunately they have to try harder than an average American band to get noticed. I don't know if anyone has seen Default live too, but same goes for them in terms of an awesome live performance.

RUSH, Bachman Turner Overdrive, The Band, Loverboy, April Wine, Steppenwolf, The Five Man Electrical Band, Triumph, Alexisonfire, 3 Inches Of Blood, Sum 41, The Dudes, and of course The Trews.

The list goes on, so let no one EVER say that Canadian music is bad. Americans are (generally) so uneducated in terms of everything not American that they probably think Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Black Sabbath are all from the states. Just an observation.
