  • Damn good video, what you say about people hiding blades is very true. An expericed fighter with a knife is nearly impossible to stopif he gets in range.

  • love that guys style

  • what does Mr. Price call his art? i see some kempo and jujutsu in there obviously, with some kyusho jutsu.

  • Tashi Price's main arts are Shuri-Ryu Karate and Shuri-Te JuJutsu. He also cross trains in several different arts, thus the blend you see here. You could also ask him directly on our forum. He sometimes stops by. Thanks for the Q.

  • Shuri-Ryu as in Robert Trias? ...never heard of Shuri-Te jujutsu...it is based on the karate? the tuite applications from kata?

  • Yes on the Shuri-Ryu. I don't know that much about Shuri-Te. I believe it's a derivation of another jujutsu system.

  • I see pure Karate. Karate was already blended with many other martial art systems, therefor anything crosstrained is an exercise in Karate exploration.

  • Great comment. Jujutsu is a preview into advanced Karate. Because so few people advance beyond beginning Karate, they don't see the closer in fighting aspects.

  • @guitarninja83 Awesome insight

  • Good video.
