  • i remember what i believe to be her last record

which was a cover version of the beatles eight days a week

  • i wonder how many people realise that alma cogan did a cover version of the beatles record eight days a week

  • She was one gorgeous woman.

  • Thank you soooooooo much for making this!

She was a friend of long ago and I was able to

show this to my husband today who loved her sound.

When she died they did a radio tribute and the first song

to come up was CHEEK TO CHEEK with the first line

"Heaven, I'm in Heaven..." We all phoned each other.

    Thank you again, Millicent Martin

  • Thank you very much for your appreciation!

  • Thank you so much for that. I miss her.

  • I really love you alma cogan even though you are dead

  • Thank you johnxxx20000, This is a well thought out and well made tribute to Miss Cogan. She is my hero and know that she was just the best entertainer to ever hit showbusiness! (Sorry, Dame Shirley Bassey, but you will only ever be Alma's understudy).

Thank you once again john. Much appreciated.

R.I.P. Alma, Earth Is Poorer, Heaven Is Richer.

  • Alma Cogan was a very polished singer as well as a very beautiful woman. I am very sad to hear that she died at the young age of 32 of ovarian cancer. Alma had so much to give to the world, I miss her very much. God bless you Alma Cogan. Very Respectfully: Henry W. Pope

  • Always in tune,with perfect pitch !

She was so full of life, and always a joy to watch.
