1. what should i mix with the powder exactly and what are the quantities?

2. how do i get the design to print on my skin? coz i tried once and left it on for 1 hour but when i washed it off, there was nothing at ALL =(

3. how long should i keep the paste on?

Great questions;

1. There are no measurements when mixing henna powder. You just keep adding liquid, until it is the texture you want.

2.You first should use fresh henna powder. Old henna will not leave a stain. You should also not wash off with water, but with oil, or scrape it off.

3.Leave the paste on as long as possible. Minimum 3 hours. For the best stain, overnight.

thank you for your reply =) the henna i bought was by kilo, not pre-packed. so i dont know if it is old or new. though i assume it is new stuff. (not so sure)

what i did was that i mixed the powder with water only and left it for 20 minutes to set before applying it to my skin. i didnt seem to work =(

what liquids should i mix with the powder? ( the henna that am wanting to use is BLACK body henna). is the time which i left it to set enough??
