  • I had the pleasure of seeing him perform with the San Antonio Symphony last night. AMAZING!!!

  • I suddenly want to get married. Although I'm single.

  • Phenomenal! Just like a young Horowitz! BRAVO ALEXANDER!!

  • I cried. I want that at my wedding.

  • Wow, being in Miami in 2005; maybe having a Grand Piano ! But i don't think that's his wedding day ! For whom did he played that tune; i just don't know ?

  • BRAVO!!!!!!

  • How does this not have a million views?

  • @jculver2 Just a million...... ?

  • I have listened to this several times. His playing is marvelous! Bravo!

  • really amaizing.

  • ガブリリュクらしい結婚行進曲という感じですね。

    聞いてて華やかだしこの技術はとてもまねできません。

He plays song's is very nice!

    変な英語ですが(汗

  • Byłem na jego koncercie na żywo 3 razy : w Łodzi, i 2 razy w Dusznikach :D

  • To mój ulubiony pianista. Genialny...

  • Brilliant!!

  • It's not OK to miss/alter notes when they're difficult, speed up the parts you're good at, slow considerably when it gets tough, or play a sudden, unexpected fortissimo hoping it will jolt the listener into forgetting the series of blunders you just made. He's employed nearly every dirty trick in the book, complete with theatrical gestures, to give the impression of a competent performance. Fudging your way through a piece that's beyond your ability will not fool pianists with a discerning ear.

  • Are you talking about this performer? Or some other?

  • No matter what performer or piece, there will always be someone who complains. If it was the composer himself playing the piece there would still be someone saying he's 'playing it badly'. Just ignore them.

  • @theBOREDlooking1 Well, the Horowitz recording is right there. It's not like anyone can pretend Gavrylyuk played it anywhere close to his level.

  • Okay, so for those who are less discerning than you claim you are, why not point out where you mean?

  • Oh, silly me! I must have been mistaken. This performance is both technically flawless and artistically brilliant from start to finish. How could anyone find even the smallest fault with a legendary performance like this? Pianists like... GAVRYLYUK... are rare indeed.

  • No one is claiming it's flawless. Your sarcasm is patronising.

  • The guy is tremendous. One of the best young pianists of today in my opinion!

  • Не Володось :)

  • That was sick! :)

  • Astounded and speechless...

  • oh my god. I am in love.

  • ummm....unbelievable!

  • I was in this particular concert when this was taped, the whole concert was as amazing as this piece, he got standing ovations after each piece. I strongly recommend the DVD as well, it captured the essence of the live presentation at its fullest.

  • Heard him in Lodz in Poland two days ago. He played the same piece as his encore. The whole audience was totally stunned and gave him a full standing ovation with bravo's and wow's. Incredible pianist he is.

  • Ive heard him in mexico awsome concert he also played danse macabre it was great !!!

  • I heard him in Duszniki Zdroj in Poland this year. The best concert ive ever heard. he's great!!

  • Wow !!! It's so fast !! And perfect !!

  • Wonderful! He stayes "centered" throughout which isn't easy folks. GREAT sounding NEW YORK Steinway! Thanks for NOT playing a hamburg!

  • i think this is one of the best versions!

    really deserve much credit!

though expressive, he kips his composure(:

  • Everytime he starts playing this piece, the audience laugh thinking it's a joke... he quickly turns their laughter into awe however...

  • holy s***.... that was awesome! thats the fastest i have ever seen it played!

  • I've got your signiture.

  • Go Sasha!!! That was perfect!!!
