  • To autopsy87 hey man your right, always awesome to know others in life are open to their thoughts and emotions...yea i recently saw this vid and said Fuck! This is a badass song and the style behind it is priceless. Rugged and metal is the way to go.

  • cool im 20,171= 11 :D

  • i love how they have their guitars at a normal height instead of slung all low to look cool. Witch, Witchraft, Earthless, and a few others give me hope for humanity. Everyone cries about ******(insert whoever is on mtv right now)and how they suck and modern music is terrible wah wah i wish i lived in the 60s/70s. turn off your television. there is great music happening right now you just need to look

  • @vistastillrips agreed. this is the best time to live in if you look at it right. we have information at our finger tips and can listen to cool bands from any era anytime we want

  • haha i was the 16,666 viewer...wierd

  • They didnt rip off Sabbath but you can clearly tell a Sabbath-esque influence but every single band in in the world was influenced by Sabbath especially in doom metal

  • michigan has a good post-hardcore scene but thats about it

  • there's a whole lot more than that... go to Mt. Pleasant... that's where it's at man

  • I took his hand...WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

  • this riff is legendary to say the least.

  • ...i found out bout this band by typing in witch into itunes cuz i was really bored...

i kinda accidentaly clicked on one of there songs. like seriously

  • Er, coasts* Look in*

And while I'm at it someone come to Albany and let's doom this shit up.

  • Both costs have decent scenes, and then the south has an awesome sludge thing going on. The major cities all generally have some shit happening to. You really just gotta lookin the right places.

And shame on you whoever questioned Baltimore's doom scene. Baltimore generally throws 2-3 huge doom festivals a year!

  • @PopeSmoker666 Oh shit! I gotta get on that!

  • hey, does this bands singer play in any other bands? if he does i wanna hear em. i never would have heard of this band if j didnt drum

  • amazing

  • Cool!

  • thank you sir

  • god im so fuckin happy to know this band exists. i'm not surprised seein as how jmascis is a fuckin genius, and im REALLY not surprised to know a band of THIS kind featuring j exists. he just seems like the kind of guy to be into this stuff.

  • Thanks for posting this pvirus- very cool.

  • J is a fuckin genius.

  • Hey, the singing in this video is actually GOOD?

    Great footage.

  • Anyone know if they're comin to chicago any time soon? They fukin rok!

  • hope the doom scene will live forever. doom metal always top of my list. doom on.

  • Do you know where a good scene is? I have a lot of doom riffs but no one to play them with :(

  • Come to Seattle, the doom scene is still somewhat alive. Im looking for a bassist and possibly another guitar

  • Goddamn I wish I could.

  • do you live in michigan?

  • Naw, MD. Does michigan have a scene?

  • I thought Maryland had a good doom scene? You guys got Wino

  • Holy shit I totally forgot. Well we got him and his bands and like no one else I know. The place where he's from is literally maybe 20 minutes from where I live.

  • i know it man, im going solo

  • yeah Seattle is still pretty into doom. Olympia is a little bit too, thats where im from.

  • That's actually good to know if I ever end up in that area.

  • @leechmilk theyre stoner metal

  • that scream is awesome

  • FUCK YEAH!!!! WITCH!!!! bad-ass. and no, It sounds nothing Like The Wizard. Perhaps similar style, but not ripping it off!! Besides, most Doom Metal bands sound like this. Thats why its a "style" as in all other genres.

    dumbasses

  • Christ in heaven! Somebody tell them they're ripping off Sabbath.

  • like the sabbath song the wizard

  • sounds nothing like that song

  • the content asshole

  • your reading way too much into music then.

  • think thats the intention, and they have fun doing it, so what?

  • I fail to see where they ripped off Sabbath....

  • this band needs some holy water

  • Love this band!

  • anyone know if theres a tab of this online? the main riff is killer and its so simple but i cant for the life of me work it out, i suck

  • i sure hope there isn't, because i think the point of this is be inspired by something and come up with your own something that suits you.

ill bet you can come up with a riff that you like for your own! in any case i think it's "killer " too

  • its on the 5th or the A string in Eb tuning

    A {14-12-10-12-10/7---14-17-12-10h12p10}

Thats pretty much the main riff i know there is another way to do it but i only have two strings on my guitar right now. Listen to the song and play along youll catch on to the rhythm

  • THIS IS YOUR NEW GOD ----> WITCH

  • Awesome, Witch rules. Whats funny is that theyre barely moving.

  • such a sweet delay on the vocals.

  • i have more left nut then my whole body

  • J's drumming is really cool. uhhhh28, that was the most amazing comment i've seen in a while. ha. great video!

  • j rulez

    oldschool drums

    oldschool metal

  • Awesone! great song. great musicians. great band.

  • J mascis has more talent in his left nut then you have in your whole body.

  • No talking.

  • the opposite is true
