Well, I don't care what he thought. Paul, Joj and Rich ended up much better without him. He ended up dying at 40 in a foreign country by the hand of some random loser while Paul is considered the greatest legend because of his amazing solo career AND he is a real father to his children. George did amazing too, he had a great long life and wrote beautiful music, and look at Ringo, healthy, strong and enjoying life.

John, for all his musical brilliance (I think Strawberry Fields Forever to be a stunningly beautiful song and one of my all time favourites) was a very bitter man and could be very hypocritical. And I swear like a fucking trooper, but it just seems distasteful for him to swear all the time in an interview, and talking about how he wish he'd hit George? He could NEVER forgive them? Give peace a chance yeah... bullshit.

I think John was such an asshole, because he did so many drugs and smoked and drank way too much, and when he met Yoko, the bitch, she clouded his mind with things like, "We have to bring peace to the world, John." and shit like that. And because he loved her so much, he got upset when people insulted her or derived her of things she really didn't deserve. But yeah, he still was kind of an asshole before he met her, but Yoko amplified it ten fold.

Maybe even worse but put yourself in the situation. Here are your close friends critizing the person you love. Wouldn't you be resentful, I'd be like, you know what screw this and stuff. Besides you and I have no idea what he's been through.
