I was on the outside 2 or 3 weeks ago, I am from the west side of the state, but plan to go back to do some urban exploring and take some photos next week, whats the best way to go about getting inside?

the building is pretty safe and you dont really have to worry about the crack heads be cause most of the time they run thinking your the cops.ive been going there for years and never had any problems and actualy have met some pretty cool people .one guy took me to the old packard plant.now thats a building its like 12 blocks long and is a whole bunch of seperate buildings. the train station is my favorite one though
yeah packard is cool but more risky cuz more people go there. the 2 times ive been there ive seen fires and people stipping cars. it alright. if you do go to the packard visit the 3rd floor tree room. it has a tree growing in the middle of it. overall its kinda safe i mean iam 13 and go woth my dad and have never been hurt.
I would really like to go into the depot sometime....does anyone have information about the best way to enter/exit? Are there many issues with police? Ive been outside the building before, and Im in AWE. EPIC infiltration!!
If I were to go there, in broad daylight, I wouldn't be attacked, or anything like that, would I?
I'm just asking you people because you guys seem to be "civil", to say the least.
I really want to go to this place, just to look.
So, if you could please respond, I'd be thrilled to know.
I have the means to go there, because of the old architectual elements, and I have Aunts and Uncles, and various other family, that happen to live in Windsor.
i been in the train station a few times. its the shit at night. if u go u need to have people with u cuz there are crack heads an other people running around in there. u can get in under a vydock were sheet metal is torn off and grafetti says troys house. the floor has holes in it and the stairs has missing steps. go all the way to the roof because its a beautiful veiw of detroit.

From what has been found out, it is believed a lot of asbetos is floating around inside that building. May not be all that healthy.

you know, I must agree, a building like that, built in 1913, been abandoned since, oh... 1989, was it?

It's off of Michigan Ave, about 1+ miles west of the city. Get to Michigan and Woodward, head west on Michigan.
