I agree with you in that total blind faith lead by dogma can be misleading, especially if there are significant changes (after thousands of years) in a religion's birthplace's socio-economic climate. This blind faith guided by dogma CAN lead to allow malicious persons to act on their base instincts, misinterpreting scriptures, and mistaking their own delusions to be God talking to them. However brother, we must not hate on Muslims and Christians, though they may hate us. Let's BE THE EXAMPLE. :)

but thats good though. what better to induce trance and meditation that that? Besides when performing japa, thats the whole point is to repeat. The repetition is like tricking the mind to focus on something while another part of you reflects or is doing something else.
