I was at work in Bowling Green when this tornado came through. It was a very weird week because we had a few tornado touch downs within a few days. The tornado sirens were going off and the radio station was urging people to take cover immediately that it was in our direct path. Very scary! This is excellant video and reminds me of that scary day all over again. HA!

@MyCoolpop because it is a very rural community that we live in. The tornado sirens were going off in town, but this video was shot from the outskirts of town where there are no sirens. Only farmland, farm houses and such. Where this video was shot there are actually a lot of Amish who live there. Very scary! I was at work when this tornado came through Bowling Green, I work in the little town of Bowling Green. Too bad we can't put sirens everywhere huh?

I'm from NYC and I live near here now. Tornadoes scare the crap out of me, even if we get strong thunderstorms I get scared. Because on TV in New York every time you hear about a tornado it's because people got killed and there was major destruction. So that's what I think of every time I hear a storm's coming.

Last summer, 3 small tornados touched down in NYC- Brooklyn AND Queens. It's not like you can clear out the entire midwest and great plains for godssake, that's like 23 states. Most of them don't usually get life threatening tornadoes on a regular basis. Why doesn't the eeastern seaboard move because of possible tsunamis or the predicted rising coastlines
