Having watched the video and in investigating the history of this JD Sparks, I have a strong suspicion that this man is quite dangerous in that he may be mentally ill. I have a penchant for spotting a psycho a mile away and Mr. Sparks fits every facet of a particular peculiar kind of mentality known as a "sociopsychopath". Think of it as being a bullying control freak to an insane (literally delusional) degree.

I would have kicked the "businessman's" ASS and called the cops after I finished beating to a complete pulp (self defense cut and dry, with a room full of witnesses) and then have him arrested for assault.

If by chance I was arrested (not likely), I would also sue the pants of the local police for the arrest. Of course followed up by a lawsuit to the "businessman" for assault.

Posting the video is itself enough to push back against these assholes. It looks to me like the cameraman did the best in this situation... if he had fought back more, he would have been made out to look like the bad guy. Besides, if he had really fought back like you are suggesting, he could have had his tape (and possibly camera) seized, and there would have been nothing to post.

What was he doing to you during the filming? Was your hand behind your back? Did you identify yourself with a badge before filming?
