@redpunk Actually, the Portuguese did perform slave raids on their own. They also built the first slave castle by forcing their way into present day Ghana. And some African leaders did try to resist the slave trade, but at the end of the day the Europeans had the gun and the Africans needed the gun.

And some African leaders did try to resist the slave trade, but at the end of the day the Europeans had the gun and the Africans needed the gun.

The Egyptians were not black Africans. The Greeks referred to black Africans as Ethiopians.

Martin and Malcolm X both had different styles and different philosophical solutions towards Civil Rights. Also consider that both of them had completly different backgrounds. Malcolm X grew up more Urban then Martin who comes from Generations of Preachers! In President Obama's book he said that he spent a lot of his earlier years trying to find himself and that he related more to blacks. Many whites look at his color. He is well spoken because he is well educated not because of race.
