As you can see the tv and cable companies are either ripping themselves off or ripping you off.

"Local TV" is passed tense, the internet is the future.
A TV company is like any other business, if people don't buy their product they go down.
Why should we be forced to pay these companies "Local TV" to keep them from going down, why are they any different for any other business, News Paper, Radio, Websites etc.etc, they provide all the same services.
At the end of the day it should be a choice, If I don't wish to receive I don't pay.
Force me and I'll boycott their sponsors who advertise.

Cable Companies are forced by law to provide Local TV to its Customers.

This "Money Pit" they call the C.B.C. is already funded by the taxpayers to the annual tune of $1,200,000,000,00. What a complete waste of taxpayer dollars. As for "Corporate Welfare" for private broadcasters, that's what "Social Services" is for.
