I think Shinee and TVXQ were probably the most sucessful rookie boy groups in the 21st history (even people didn't start really getting into Super Junior until U cause they thought the members were going to change every year). Most rookies are nothing nowadays, I think only Infinite is doing well an even they had to really earn it.
