@steve27612006 Yes,and you have to have the car running for the top mechanism to operate.Lots of bells and whistles,but not the most practical car.I have a red 64 and I love it!!!
@dj63010 You are correct.Mine had a bad top cylinder,and I thought you had to run it to get it to work.These are neat cars,but were overengineered for their time.Mine is a red 64.Wouldn't give it up for the world.It's a gas hog though!!!!
@doglips1958 I've owned a couple 63's and a 61, I still fantasize about owning another one some day. Nothing quite like driving a 4,000 pound piece of metal down the road. I really believe the 61-66 model birds were the most beautiful cars ever built.
Beautiful car, love the color, just hope we can get all the electrics working on my car as well as they do on this car !!!

Do you have to hold a switch or button (down) while the top and trunk operate?

@doglips1958 The car does not have to be running for the top mechanism to work however you better have a well charged battery.
