  • Did you say you were going to upload more videos describing the design process? Also I'm designing a similar pump to be used in Peru and was wondering if I could talk to you about your design.

  • @hickeyj22 Someone was going to put together plans for me but I haven't heard from them in a long time. Looks like I'm back on my own, as time allows.

Email me at approtechie@gmail.com for details or discussion.

  • Any one know a some good bauler buckets for sell under $60 bucks .I am going to make a well.

  • It would be great to replicate your design : ) Looking forward to your how-to

  • AWESOME!!

  • fix a small wind mill and u will get water pumped when there is wind and also fix a tub to collect water

  • @soapshouse Yup.

  • could you point me towards a diagram of the how it works?

  • @spdh I'm still working to put plans together. Will let you know when I have them.

  • @approtechie there's another 'how to' posting by someone from Indonesia, just search this title - simple save cost pvc hand well pump

  • Would be very cool if you could post the plans somewhere online for free.

  • Hi, I really like your design! Well done. I need to construct the exact same type of system for an application like this. I just need some help with the pump .. is there any way you can explain the coke bottle cap thing better? Regards

  • Please post your plans..this great!

  • do you have a check valve on there so that you don't have to start pumping water up from the bottom each time...so that the water stays near the top when you have finished pumping? I will be looking for your plans. please let me know if or when you have them available.

  • @ICUC007 The check valve at the bottom is made from some off-the-shelf PVC pipe fittings and a Coke bottle cap with a bit of rubber inner tube glued to the bottom. Some copper wire holds it in place, allows it to move up and down about 1/4". It works very well and I don't believe I've ever had one fail.

  • Anyone have an idea where to get the instructions on how to build this or is there a website to buy the plan?

  • @mo4ebuyer This is my own personal design and I don't yet have plans available, sorry. I hope to put something together and post it but I'm really busy right now.

  • omg how :S

  • neat job; thx for the idea

Gracias.

  • hay thank you very much for this vid, it a very clever pump ! ! ! ! - BraVO -

  • pretty neat.

  • very cool!

could you point me towards a diagram of the how it works?
