What looks like a locomotive on the front of the train is a Non-powered Control Unit. It is a former locomotive with the prime mover and traction motors removed. What's left is the control cab. The roll-up side doors allow it to be used as a baggage car, hence the nickname "cabbage car." With controls on both ends, the train operates push-pull style and does not need to be turned around.

cool movie but why need 2 locos for a passenger train? here is 1 locomotive electric for 15 cars each has 65 tonnes.
the locomotive has above 7000hp.
