Good comment, but please take into account:
- Legal ownership of firearms in Mexico extremely dificult due to a wide variety of legal regulations: To posess a firearm you need a permit and to get a permit you need to below to a shooting or hunting club, which in turn require annual fees.
This makes firearm ownership (by far) the exception amongst law abiding Mexican citizens, otherwise I'm certain we would see more instances of civilian resistance against drug cartels.

@Nleal123X thats true i actually lived in Mexico my whole life and you will be surprise how many weapons people own, there's a huge black market of arms including ak47 and M11 that obviously are very expensive, but most ranchers own pistols.

I understand what you say sir, the problem is, over here, you do something like that, you die, i have no problem dying for what i believe in, but these people over here they just don´t just kill you, they take and kill your family, this great man, don Alejo, had the families of 2 of his workers staying there, he protected the workers and their lifelyhood, standed against 36 so called "men" (cowards) with AK´s and bulletproof vests with his hunting rifles. He kept his honor, dignity....

An honest mistake, makes you wonder...
The news about Don Alejo came to me as a new hope for the situation in Mexico. He's now though as a hero and a role model for lots of people, as you say, to sand up for themselves and fight back for the things that they work for their whole lives.
enough is enough.
Goverment here in Mexico left the people to fight for themselves and see what happends when someone is proud to die defending his famly and workers!!

1 . the government dont support us, if you do a denunciation to a crime or extorcion is like you are singing your death sentence, becuse they do nothing and also they acuse you with de narcos
2 . if you want to do justise for your own hand, you have to have a gun, a gun in mexico is illegal only weapons for hunting like don alejo and you have to ask for a permission and in this days thats impossible
