I love your set up, I have the same type of set up for my dwarf hamsters, but pink instead of blue. I know that my guys love the vertical tubing, just tilted on an angle so they can get up to the top! I even put one of the ovo cardboard maze in the second setup for more interesting ideas, again, great set up and they are super adorable.

but i heared that plastic cages are bad for hamsters.because they sweat and air humidity gets too hight.-> hard to breath

My dwarf hamsters have no problem breathing because of the air holes that are in the design of the ovo habitrail. However, I would never recommend the ovo habitrail dwarf edition for any hamster, but recommend the "normal" setup for the dwarfs and to not put a Siberian sized hamster in this set up. The tubes are too small for the larger hamsters, not the dwarfs, and (after my own experience) will ultimately hurt your hamster.

i just bought the ovo suite yesterday and gonna buy add ons. are the spiral tubes made bu habitrail? as i cannot find them, also are your 2 hamsters male? female? i got 1 male but dont want to buy another if they will fight? did the hamsters have any trouble climbing up the vertical tubes when u got it?

@carterclips2000 Yes, two boy hamsters were fine, however we made the mistake of moving their "nest" so to speak, where they both slept it got awfully dirty and grotty, so we separated their sleeping arrangements, this was the wrong thing to do! it caused them a lot of stress and they fought a lot after that, so much so that we had to separate them completely.

i just wanted to let you know that dwarf hammies actually can climb vertical tubing as my dwarf can easily climb to her 3rd story loft that has a vertical tube. ;D

@hammytv12 Yes they can climb, however with Dwarf Hamsters if you put the vertical tubing to high, they have more chance of losing grip and falling than syrian hamsters, and can seriously injure themselves. We didnt want to risk hurting our hamsters, but they got plenty of run around.

i got this habitrail cage....my hamster just nawed away at the plastic and made holes so it cud escape i had to duct tape the cage....i know ur probly thinking i dint give it any toys but it had lots of nibler s and chew treats but it likes to chew the cage........i do not recomend this cage to anyone whos hamster likes to chew on cages....an aquaruim or wire cage is ur best bet
