The most easy way to become pure is to lower the Rates of your bought shops, just try and put each of your rents to -25% and you should be Pure pretty quick

what i do is i go to bowerstone old town.....not bowerstone market. bowerstone old town because theres no gaurds there and slaughter everyone then go back n do it again:)

Set your rent below the average (though bear in mind at -100% you will get no money) and generally make "good" decisions (such as freeing slaves). Also, don't eat when you don't need to.
good/evil is decided mainly by quests, there is a good option and a bad option in most of them, also giving people gifts will increase good and killing civilians and guards gives evil. purity is increased by eating veggies and having low rent prices, corruption is increased by: gambling, sleeping too long, eating meat, drinking, paying for sex with whores, and having high rent.
I heard that buying a bunch of property and lowering the rent all the way pays off in the end. Apparently, if you own most of the property in a region and have low rent the economy flourishes, and in turn you get paid even more.
In Fable 2, MORALITY Good means you care about others; Neutral means it depends; Evil means you wish to do others harm. PRIORITIES Corruption means you lavish yourself; This being Neutral means you accept pleasures and deny yourself pleasures alternatively; Pure means you don't think about self-pleasure. GOOD/PURE= Loves to give and help without reward. GOOD/NEUT= Loves to help others, but a reward is nice. GOOD/CORPT= Loves to helps others, when done helping self.
Best way to get purity is to buy buildings, houses etc. then lower the prices and rental price. People will like you more, though you wont make as much money. Opposite if you want to get corrupt, just jack up prices to their max.

Not only that, but he takes forever to get his point across, expresses unrealistic amounts of emotion for trivial things, and thinks his games are God's gift to man.
i hated how ur character would age so quickly. for me by the time i beat the game he was already like 40-60 years old. i hope he ages slower in this one. it was like after every quest in fable 1 he aged by like 3 years. im glad that in fable 2 if u decide to have a family ur children will grow up differently depending on if ur good or evil. imagine having a demon child in this game.
Actually, the character in the first Fable would age each time you leveled your skills (ie- you increase your Guile and Health, your character would age according to how much you increased those two stats).
What I want to do though, is to have a murderous assassin but have my character be loved because I'm an outstanding citizen and no one knows I'm an assassin. That's what I want to see in a RPG, and that's what I'm sort of hoping for in this game.
Isn't that what the game is about. Making your own choices and doing things your own way. So if you want to take up assassination, do it and perhaps if you are witty and crafty enough you could pull it off and get respect and be seen as a good person by those around you xD Maybe that;s why he has the different scales rather than just the good and evil scale. And then go around pick pocketing people who are too drunk to even take notice. That may of ended up effecting your corrupted/pure scale and made you lean more towards the corrupt side but the other scales may lean more towards the different direction depending on wht other things you may do. oblivion and fable 2 are amazing games. fable 2 has my vote because in oblivion, it seems as if when you walk and talk, it affects the world too much. not little by little. like if i said ur looking good or ur a fucking ugly bitch, that would be affective.

Well they both tried to give the player a choice on how they wanted to play the game. Oblivion had more success IMO though. Mainly because there was just so much to do that most don't touch the main quest for quite a while.

Also i want to see more complexity in the look of your char, i want mine to be, Molyneux's fav word, Unique. Like the others said, super fast Corrupt/Pure gains come from Jacking/Lowering rent of real estate.
1. Save up some gold through working a job.
2. Spend gold on small businesses -first-, like those little vendor stalls.
3. Choose, Hero... No Rent change. (Neutral);
Raise rent (More money and Corruption); Lower rent (Less money, more Purity)
4. Every 5 min.s (5 game hours) you receive dividends amounting to how much rent they all give you and Corruption/Purity hits.
5. Save that money.

Was that directed at me? Because I have both games and I like both. There are good and bad things on every game.
One poster praises Fable for going against the grain and says they've yet to play another game that could live up to it. So I suggest Oblivion and get my comment hidden.
Then some other fucking idiot tells me the two are nothing alike as if I were comparing Fable to Halo or some shit. So yeah I had a bit of an attitude but I still enjoyed both games.

i think fable 2 is a mix of both lol in HD oblivion massive scale and huge amount of population mixed with fable 1's alignment and and the complete difference between endings thats the great thing in fable 2 there is 3 endings unlike oblivion where u have to save tamriel instead of killing bitchs (chancellor occatto nah just kidding) but yeh it will be a mix of both but that was my downfall for oblivion is the fact u couldnt pick your side in of the main or faction questlines so yeh FABLE 2

Well they both tried to give the player a choice on how they wanted to play the game. Oblivion had more success IMO though. Mainly because there was just so much to do that most don't touch the main quest for quite a while.

Fable didn't pull it off so well. You still had to jump through hoops to advance whereas Oblivion is more open ended.
Fable 2 looks great. Hopefully they'll be able to include everything they wanted to in the first game.

I HATE how you age sooo much faster with will, i mean in one day i was 65 YO. Does time apply like that in 2? Also i want to see more complexity in the look of your char, i want mine to be, Molyneux's fav word, Unique. So far, these are my only questions about this game, looking forward to see if Molyneux can live up to these expectations.

heya guys, im a really big fan of fable and have compeleted fable 1 five times being good and evil and a mixture of both and i find that no one like evil where in real life thats not the case, also i like the idea of good standing tall but i dont think evil should be kind of hunched and dead looking because if you want to be evil ( which i do ) you want to stand tall over all who are weaker than you and smash them down with you powerful demon arms and forbidden magics. wat do you think?
