Hated how the game was filled with nothing. Loved the combat as it reminded me of Valkyire Profile. Loved the soundtrack- The only thing that got me to finish the game.
Oh, and the "hints" in game were too damn cryptic.
@BluShadesX Because NISA went and did it's usual retarded thng of changing names and sections of the script for no valid reason. At least, that's what the major downside was for me.
@steweygrrr The bad reviews were mostly of the game play flaws. Reviewers usually don't sit through a 50+ hour RPG. They didn't get to it's strong points.
1. The storyline/advancement was totally non-linear with no hints what so ever. A major turn off for people who don't mind being told what to do.
2. The item grind/ skill grind was intense. If they only fixed a few problems this would have been a perfect "Calender Clearer" game - like Valkyire Profile 2, White Knight Chronicles , Dark Cloud etc.
3.Difficulty spikes out the ass. Combined with the intense grind, this made the game bitterly cruel.
@Nineteenth Despite what you want to think, there are hints, many hints. You cant get the true end first play through without a walk through sure but isn't that the point? The true ending should be for people who love the game and have cleared it many times. But trust me there are hints your an idiot to think otherwise. The rest of your points are wrong and only caused by lack of knowledge. i've been importing and playing idea factory games since 1999, this is standard fair for them
Well, NISA currently have no plans of brining Cross Edge Dash to the US, but that doesn't mean it won't ever get there (who knows?), it'll probably take some time though. Anyway, Cross Edge is a great game regardless of all the bad reviews.
One difference: NIS of America didn't localize Chaos Wars. They'll probably localize this one (otherwise it'll be Atlus, or some other company) if their other games sell well. The point is, as long as you buy NIS or Atlus games, this one still has a reasonably high chance of localization. It's not a guarantee, but it's 90 percent more likely.
check the remix (8bit) by swipesomething here on youtube its awesome!

The Guitar makes this soundtrack sound close to what Shoji Meguro does with his soundtracks.

Sonic if you got a 360 it is comming out for 360 also. Ps3 was a timed exclusive, so you still have a chance to play it.
