Is it normal to learn ollie-ing over objects till now?I started skating 3-4 months ago,I STILL CANT OLLIE OVER anything!!! I can ollie when i'm not moving,but i cant when i move.. (Noob Skater Here)

@R3DzxGoDzz -can you ollie very high? if not, just keep trying too get higher and higher when not moving and when they're sorted, try them moving really slowly, like hardly moving and when you get them down, gradually get quicker and quicker, and when you're able too ollie at a pretty good speed, try over objects.

it takes time but if you can ollie really well, it makes every flip trick 10000x easier.

@R3DzxGoDzz - try catching the board with one foot too get it down, then bring the other foot onto it. i couldn't land anything, i'd just put my back foot down, so i decided too try catch with one foot and bring my other foot onto the board after and i find it much easier too land..

try puting your backfoot on the edge and your front foot near the bolts but not to close, pushdown with your back foot as hard as you can and slide your foot up to the nose while jumping as high as you can....thats very important cause the board isnt gona do the job you are the one who needs to jump and when your on the air try puting your board straight and stomp te board down..now remember to not be scared when landing. To do an ollie there is 3 things you do at the same time and 2 of them you must pay close attention to. 1: POP AS HARD AS YOU CAN 2: slide your foot, this is probably the easiest step out of the three then 3: JUMP while popping and slide. Mostly pay attention on popping and yeah...

Tip on ollieing something. Such as a curb or object; you just have to have speed. Only difference. So approach the object and look past it such as like 3 feet ahead of it before you do the trick and aim for that spot. once you nail that you wont even realize your jumping over anything
