  • Your a fucken monster. How can you live with yourself knowing you killed something so pure and beautiful. We dont need to hunt to eat anymore jackass. I dont even think you were planning to eat it, but to mount it on your fireplace. Go fuck yourself you dic.

  • Nice buck! Good shot!

  • maybe 150s not 170.

  • lol, all these haters saying it was a gut shot. Lets bring it back for the booth review. 2:43. Clearly double lung. A little high and left but nice shot.

  • @DirtyRed703

    Agreed

  • That was awesome. Good Job

  • He smoked him with a double lung shot. When the shots high on the body the bloods pools inside and makes it a little harder to track. Good mature buck....Nice Job

  • was a little far back if it were a gun shot, but not a gut shot. took time cause it looked like a lung hit

  • not a 170 bud maybe 155- 160

  • @jakemcdonald97 Agreed

  • yu dumbasses that wasnt a gut shot.....

  • dang what a buck. they dont get that big were i hunt in arkansas

  • nice buck, looks about like a 155-160 typical 10. great deer man

  • shoulda shot the first one

  • great deer.. I would get rid of the muzzy. If you have lost 2 does. It would have felt bad to lose him. I lost to many with muzzys, so I switched to rage and dont track far at all any more. Again. awsome video and great buck.

  • Is that a matthews switchback?

  • Nothing gets my heart pounding more than sitting in a tree stand and hearing something tromping through the woods towards you. Thats the art of hunting, you never know if that somthing is going to be a doe, a little spike buck, or a booner! congrats on an amazing deer!

  • Great Deer!! Great Vid as well Congrats!!

  • is that a mathews dxt? there nice bows, i wish they were in my weight range or ide have one by now.

  • Nice buck! I'm trying to get onto bow hunting but I have no idea how to use a grunt call, can someone please send me a message and tell me how?

  • nevan is my hero! 170! WTF thats awesome you deserve it! nice video as well

  • real nice buck, not 170 but a real good deer!!!

  • was digging hearing your grunt calls- hated it when the stupid metal soundtrack started. had to mute it. congrats on the hunt.

  • Beautiful shot on a gorgeous buck!

  • Great buck! Good job on the video as well. Good to see dads & sons hunting together. Just a tip though: I've had many a deer bust me because I had no facemask on!

Again good job. Good move backing out and giving that big boy time to expire.

  • smoked him!

  • im not a hunter or a hippie . i understand we have to kill to eat (survive) . but why hunt for pleasure ? and how come kill such a stunning animal ?

  • @TheMancSam I can understand this a normal question. 1st of all, i can gaurantee the deer was cleaned and every piece of edible meat was kept and consumed by these hunters. the general population of the people that don't hunt do not realize that whitetail hunters have most likely been part taking in the sport of deer hunting since they were shown how to hunt, by their fathers and grandfathers, and as a result know way more about what they are doing than an on looker.

  • @TheMancSam which means cleaning, packaging, and saving that venison in the freezer when the "hunting season" ends, saves them an exponential amount of money. and to answer, why kill such a stunning animal?....if i haven't already made it clear why we hunt whitetails, this might make it clearer....1. i can gaurantee you that if you were open minded and took the time to actually go hunt, i can PROMISE you it IS one of the most exillerating experiences you will have in your life

  • 2. i can personally account for witnessing multiple first time experiences in the woods, and everyone is blown away at how awesome it actually is...i make a living filming outdoor television, i have seen the outdoors do more therapy for people than the best phsycologist

  • @TheMancSam Ask any wildlife biologist,If the herd population gets out of hand then so does disease and starvationDue to good management, herds are much healthier now than 100 years ago

  • @TheMancSam I know there have been a few people who have made points on this also, i just wanted to chime in. We kill deer, one because it is one of the most exhillirating experiences you can find. and two hunters need to keep the population in check. Allowing the deer herd to keep growing allows them to not only become a nusense, but if the herd is not slimmed down each year it will get so large that the deer will eventually start dyeing due to starvation, and disease

  • nice kill nice buck = lucky day for you

  • at 4:38 are those ticks?

  • what was your draw weight man awesome buck

  • Where in Illinois Was this?

  • Great shot young comrade, congatulations from Italy.

  • Well done son.

  • Beautiful buck...great set up, great video....professionally done. You guys should be proud!

  • vegetarians suck

  • nice shot man, awesome 11 point. 10/10 what bow do you use, and can you check out my channel on my dads 8 point shot pa, both are trophies ill tell you that but awesome shot dude.

  • thats nothing close to a perfect shot that shot is too high

  • Great Buck man. I shot one almost indentical here in SD this last sunday (12-19-10) and he went 171 7/8 even with a busted off brow tine that cost me 5 inches in gross and 5 inches in deductions. I use the G5 montec but I have also heard good things about the Rage. Nice footage!

  • perfect aim, impressive buck.

  • nice buck congrats.

  • great shot real nice video , just one thing i would recomend ( RAGE) best broad head on the market i shot a doe last year prob was abt 150 lbs and she only ran abt 20 yards and the blood trail was like they said a red carpet but great job great deer congrats

  • Dude i shot a 171 class buck on holloween. Thats awesome good job.

  • great shot on a monster buck...u using a Mathews Outback?

  • must be adding it up wrong. its not a 170. more like in the 150's but still okay deer

  • That is an awesome buck...well done!

  • a friend of mine shot a buck quartering away with a rage and it hit but slid all the way down its side until it hit the shoulder and went through.. didnt hit any organs. so he lost the buck and never saw him again because of the rage.

  • @NateSchnier i had a friend shot a small buck it the hind leg and it still killed it dnt tell me rage dnt work i shot a doe and she only ran 20 yards and the blood trail was amazing so no your friend told you wrong i have proof in the freezer

  • @MrBowhunter502 it wasnt a story.. i was sitting about 200 yds away from him and saw the whole thing.. we found the arrow and it was only muscle.. he had it on video too.. so quit calling him a lier. i dont trust the rage. you might.. but i dont. enough said. ive shot a deer in the butt on accident because it was quartering away hard but it was with a rifle. it only died because it hit the artery. i got lucky. thats probably what happened to your friends buck.

  • use rage broad heads and u will never lose a deer and take it from me every deer i have shot with a rage dropped within 30 yards of wear i shot it

  • @airnutnogut that's the comment i wanted to see lol, i bought some rage broadheads last season but haven'T had the chance to use them yet. this year is gonna be my year :D

  • @airnutnogut yep this i beleave rage is amazing love it my doe ran only 20 yrds

  • the shot was well done, but the deer jumped the string - making the shot hit a lil high.. still well done... ;)'

  • That deer is more in the 150-155 range. Great deer though.

  • man thats awesome!

  • looks more like 140-150 class but could be wrong

  • @kenjackson1977 I believe its a 170+ . I shot a buck this last saturday and it was almost an identical frame and tines and he went 171 7/8 with a busted off brow tine. A 140 usually has shorter main beams and g2's and 3's....Mine only had a 18 inch spread and still broke 170.

  • nice buck man great video

  • Good job with the shot placement and lots of composure for a young man of your age, good job and congrats.....

  • why do you nerdy hunters have the hole shabang camo 1000 dollar bow explosive arrow head lol ive been hunting with just a knife and killed bigger

  • A young bowhunter, a huge, huge buck, and a perfectly placed shot....that's what it's all about! Nice job... well done! Your Dad better be pickin' up the taxidermy fees for that one!

  • what kind of camera do you use? please respond asap thanks

  • amazing deer......im jealous, lol perfect rack, great shot, great video!

  • really nice deer but i would agree with that rest not 170 or did you really measure him..

  • i don think its 170 in. probley a 140-150 but still nice buck and congrats man!!

  • awesome deer, awesome video... im so ready for deer season. i watch this video at least once a week. but what kinda bow is that?

  • @bradycarver its a mattews

  • @andmar70 yea i knew it was mathews but that dont tell me the name of it haha thanks tho

  • leave out the gay music next time

  • thats a buck of a lifetime with a gun and you did it with a bow. Nice!

  • that not a 170 in buck it may go 145 to 150 but still a good deer

  • great buck. Suprised you got him as much as you called. Everyone else if you haven't pulled a tape on him then don't second guess, sometimes they will fool you. Besides who is it hurting if it isn't 170?

  • I am jealous. I envy you... i wish your bow snaps. by the way, nice buck :(

  • ya thats a nice buck but not anywhere nere 170 maybe high 150's low 160's and no deff not in the 140's dumbass

  • Great shot and a nice deer. We have a 150 I'm planning to take on video.

  • i wish i lived in illinois but we have some pretty big deer here in arkansas

  • amazing

  • great deer man!!! nice clean shot too. this is coming from a young female hunter too o.o

  • Thumbs up.

  • nice deer. doesnt look like a 170, maybe 150's 160's

  • nice deer. doesnt look like a 170, maybe 150's

  • Nice double lung shot. You deserve that deer :P

  • Very good!!! Perfect shot! great buck!!!

  • Thats a lil better than a good Deer...thats a great Deer and an awesome Buck, congrats.

You sure made an excellent shot...great footage...awesome hunt.

    5/5

  • Perfect shot! Nice Buck!

  • @bentpolski that shot was too high, not perfect at all. if it was perfect he would have died in the field and not have to be tracked at night. lucky he found it at all.

  • @dserf101 Dude shut the fuck up it was a good shot and he found the buck I have not seen many arrow shots where bucks just drop get your trolling ass out of here!

  • @drock6 wow, did i hit a nerve or is he your bestis buddy, carefull, your latent homosexuality is showing through !!

  • @dserf101 you know, you're a REAL A**HOLE.

  • Yeah total miss titled ...Nice deer...but I will say this...I wouldn't have even looked if the title was correct.

  • Looks 150 at most.. Nice deer regardless.

  • Nice deer in anyone's book. I'd take that buck broadside at 30 any season that I hunt. Congratulations

  • Nice buck!

  • if you think thats a 170 class buck your an idiot pure n simple, anybody that knows how to score or has seen enough bucks knows that deer is more like a 140 class

  • Alot more than 140 try 160 class! Nice bow kill!

  • 150 at most

  • man ur lucky where i hunt in louisiana in 4 hunts ur lucky 2 see a deer and the big bucks are smart and never come into openings

  • Use the Rage 2 blade next time instead of that Muzzy - you won't be tracking after hours - lol. Great shot though - looked great - and nice bow. Congrats!

  • nice shot. glad to see you didnt shoot those little bucks. i see to many little deer being shot now. 2 weeks ago i found a young 6 point or neighbor gut shot and couldnt find. anyway really good shot on a great buck!

  • Прыщавое ублюдочное создание , америкосы ублюдки !

  • it not that big compared to the ones we have in kansas

  • @blackforestprince i dont care where you are.. that is a nice buck pretty much anywhere kansas does have some big deer tho

  • thats about a gross of 145

  • @nolanls43 that is over 145... its really heavy it isnt 170 but it is big

  • nice buck, but it sure as hell ain't no 170,but still a shooter. BTW, That was a hell of a shot!

  • Damn nice buck! Where is the video of the 170 class buck though?

  • I do say it was a nice deer good shot and congrads but its not a 170 class but close to it best of luck hunting!

  • only the strong survive, kaikovich...

  • i dont see any merit in this video. Ultra expensive bow, camuflage clothes, the buck has not bought an armor or anything, not equal conditions.

  • clearly my friend, you do not understand the meaning of true hunting. it's always equal conditions. Deer have a better nose than people give em credit for... and they've got the best camoflague on the face of the planet. they can completely disappear right before your eyes. no your right, the conditions aren't equal. the odds are against the hunter more often than not.

  • but who made that bow? 2 mans? who made that clothes? 3 mans? then its 6 mans vs 1 buck. If you make your own bow, and use your camouflage then its ok 1 vs 1. Deer have good senses, but its their nature, if you feel bad with that, hunt cows, they are easier to hunt.

  • This may be the dumbest thing I have ever read. Does this mean it takes 200 "mans" for me to drive my car, considering thats how many people played a role in building it?

  • oh, so when a man with a gun kills a man with no gun, that can be called an 1vs1?? no, that is not 1vs1.

If you are able to make a gun, or that bow, in nature, then it would be fair.

But you need a machinery and a lot of human work to make that kind of things, so you are indeed ASSISTED by external things

  • what kind of idiot sais "if you make the bow then it's fair"?? Look, I've never crafted a gun in my life, but that don't change the playing field. let me ask you this idiot, if it takes 6 mans for me to hunt a deer... it takes 2 "deers" to make that deer, and what if theres a whole field of em. 8 deer is 16 eyes, ears, and 8 noses to fool. Sound equal to you? maybe you should try "understanding" a concept before you criticize it.

  • jvee, I agree with you. with this concept of thinking, I really would need the whole verizon wireless network to use my phone. I still respect mr. Koka Kola's opinion. even if it is stupid.

  • what is stupid is thinking that killing a buck with a gun or with an industrial bow has any kind of merit. Even if this kind of hunting has some more merit than the one that uses dogs to guide the bucks to you, it is still no merit to me because you have a weapon, and you have camuflage clothes and you have something to imitate the buck sound. period

  • well the freakin Taliban has IED's and Rocket Launchers! Lets all go over there dressed in bright white togas with christmas lights around us and kill em with twinkies.

Did that make much sense? nope. Makes about as much sense as what you're saying. "Merit" is called killing a deer with a rifle, and not leaving it where it lays. "Merit" is called understanding that what you take you must put back in. "Merit" has nothing to do with what you use.

  • well the tribes in africa hunt without camuflage clothes or 10000 $ bow or sound imitating , I agree with you in what you said about killing without harming environment

  • I'd love to see you come up here and hunt with your "merit". Come on up here without a gun, bow, or camo. See how far you get.

  • dude dont fucking speak if ya dont know what your saying...

  • +1 amazing deer but will most likely score 140-150

  • bruiser man congrats... heading to Kansas next week.. From florida, cant wait .

  • what kind of video camera?

  • congrats! Nice buck!

  • nice buck but no way that buck it a 170 class my friends scored 158 it had a 21" spread and a big 10 point tall tined frame but that is a very nice buck i hope i get one this year its my second year bohunting

  • Nice buck and nice shot.I was even impressed by the camera work.I just took a monster last friday and I wish i had someone holding a camera.

    Great job guys!

  • BIG BUCK!!!

  • Very Very nice buck. Well done guys! Beautiful camera work as well !

  • what pound pull on the bow?

  • Yes- It should only take one arrow. If you place your shot properly(heart-lungs), the deer should expire within minutes of the shot.

  • i like how people try to sound so proper

  • So it only takes one arrow to kill a buck? I dont know anything about hunting, but is there something in the arrows to kill it or do they bleed out?

  • looks more like a 150

  • Congratz! I'm going tonight with a crossbow :P

  • looks like a nice piece of property with some nice deer on it. congrats man nice buck, and nice shott

  • would you people who are bitching about this deer being killed on private land need to shut the hell up. just because you are jealous doesnt mean you have to take it out on them. how bout a congratulations to your fellow hunter on an awesome buck.?

  • it could be a switchback or dxt

  • do you shoot a mathews reezen it looks like one its a parrelel limbs right?

  • might be a switchback, look at the limb cups and the cam

  • thats the benefit to being rich and being able to have land like that to hunt
