Yes and no.......I wouldn't be fooled to much by peoples personas.......truth is Motorhead are HUGE and he keeps his fanbase by, basically, keeping things dumb.......last time i saw Motorhead I was thoroughly bored.....all the songs sounded the same and the solos were all cut out........though, i still have respect for the man: he's a legend for rockin to infinity......rather hear him talk, actually -- he's quite amusing to me.

Actually, as far as artistic integrity, Lemmy has quite a bit. He was always clashing with producers in the early years over the sound, and was never happy until it was what he wanted. As far as artistic growth, your right about that. It's pretty much just been rock n' roll for them the entire time, sometimes more metal sounding and sometimes more punk. That's sort of why I love 'em. You can always count on a great record from Motorhead.
