  • @candyfloss362 buttermilk can usually be replaced with regular milk mixed with a table spoon (per cup of milk) of lemon juice. lactose free milk would work fine too.

  • Great recipe, but you really shouldn't drain the chicken directly on paper towels. It's less soggy in the end if you drain them on a wire rack.

  • You need to have virgin milk is all. Whole milk is churned to make butter. After the butter is made the butter solids are removed and the liquid left over is called buttermilk and has a more tart flavor.
