@AFguy99 Yeah DOW 2 definately has done a much better job with the portrayal of aspect warriors as not being soft little weaklings I mean they walk in the steps of Khaine since when are fire demon gods of war weak little sicklings.
@AFguy99 Indeed, the voices were ridicoulus in Dawn of War 1. Now in Dawn of War 2 the Imperial Guard sounds wimpy. I mean, they are never even sure of their victory "The advantage is ours, for now".
@opalen903 That's the way the Imperial Guard canonically functions. They're nervous, knowing they can be slaughtered en-masse at any given moment. They're trained to be weary and suspicious of momentary victories due to how quickly things can change. Complacence in the comfort of a small victory can be the death of many guardsmen.
@Kaugummimat Yes. I just realized that most quotes have two files, one that ends with an "a" and one that ends with a "b". These are basically the same quote with different tones so now doing these will not be a pain in the ***.
But be advised I won't be listening to all of them and pick out the cool ones so there will be pretty generic ones.
hm I'd be happy witth just the files uploaded here. If you want to take the time to do it, that would be cool. But thanks again for the ones here so far!

@pyhimys83 What's so strange about that?
CrookedSmirk 1 month ago
@CrookedSmirk idk. just sounds wrong
pyhimys83 1 month ago
@pyhimys83 That's a regular Eldar thing to say. A more proper word for 'mammal' in the context of 40k would be Mon-Keigh.
It's used as a derogatory term towards the younger races; especially humans.

@CrookedSmirk Mon-Keigh is the Eldar word for Human. Notice the similarity to monkey.
Criticalbackstab 1 week ago
@Criticalbackstab The 'similarity' that term bears to monkey isn't anything past pure coincidence.

@CrookedSmirk I know that its just I've only recently noticed it.

Eldar were just horribly misportrayed in DoW1.
They still are, actually.

@CaptainPengu well i think its okay it doesnt do them justice completly but we came a long way since dow 1
MultiBadboy666 7 months ago
@MultiBadboy666 Yep. Since the days of weird electronically modulated androgynous voices to slightly modulated manly voices.

Yep, since DoW1, the Eldar took level in badass, thats for sure.

I like how Dawn of war 2 made Eldar sound less whimpy.
