I don't usually reply to comments like this, but this time i had to point out that:

I originally voiced my OPINION about the video. My personal opinion (which i have every right to post on the comments page). Now I don't think that my opinion constitutes an 'elitist' or 'better-than-thou' attitude, and i don't see what i said to invoke that opinion. I prefer Jan's films to this one, just like i prefer Tropicana to sunny D. It's all a matter of taste.

I don't know what everyone is on about here, but I liked this piece...I loved the music to the animation....the way it's cut together...I thought the editing on this one is really clean..maybe I like music video sort of approach....but it's cool...especially half way through where the grammaphone handle starts turning...the music picks up...that's brilliant.....

don't know why all the thumbs down to everybody supporting the original work over this mashup with pulp...it doesn't seem fair. in my opinion, it's this kind of genre-pilfering mentality that leaves most creativity today to be nothing more than revivals, rehashes and reboots. try harder and make your own work--it's more fun! who knows, with some honest creativity you could make your own masterpiece on par with svankmajer!
