Typical 'homosocial behaviour', I'd say.

Note: it's not same as being gay. It's a term used for a friendship between same sex individuals that's not of romantic/sexual nature. I.e. friendship/solidarity between guys. It's supposed to strengthen their gender identity, among other things... Rock bands are a classic example of this phenomena. And why am I saying this?
