Even though blink is my favorite band, they killed the real poppunk genre, because bands like Paramore, All Time Low and Fall Out Boy made a pop pop version of poppunk

Later on pop-punk bands like Descendents, Screeching Weasel, The Vandals and some skatepunk bands like Lagwagon, NOFX and Satanic Surfers kept the rock n roll of poppunk alive. Later on blink-182 & green day founded and it became more popular & mainstream. Even though blink is my favorite band, they killed the real poppunk genre, because bands like Paramore, All Time Low and Fall Out Boy made a pop pop version of poppunk
