I liked Kanye but watching these couple of posts made me appreciate him. He covered a lot of areas. And if you weren't paying attention or couldn't, it may have sounded like rambling. What I heard was a complex man who loves the art of music and who is trying to be the best Kanye he can be. And he cannot wake up in the mornings giving value to the critique of others because none of that really matters.

@dbdafuture Kanye was talking about the open casket of Emmett Till, whose murder in 1955 was at the start of the Civil Rights movement (see the Part 1 video of this talk). Till's mother had an open casket so the world could see how he was brutally murdered. Thumbs up so ppl can see.

The one thing I respect about Kanye is his way of thinking when it comes to producing. He takes all kinds of classic songs but makes it into his own, which makes his hits as big as they are. They're hits, because they contain samples or chords we once fell in love with-- but he re-constructs it in his own way to produce a different, great version. I like Ray Charles I've Got A Woman, but I LOVE golddigger. I love P.Y.T by MJ and I also appreciate Good Life. I enjoy what he does with his work.

Dude has a BIGASS ego... but he's telling the truth. If you have your minds eye open you can see that through the braggadocious statements he is trying to illustrate that he knows there is corruption in the media and marketing and he is trying to bypass this with his courageous endeavor as an "international asshole". Sadly, it's possible that if he were able to shave the 'ego' out, people would hear what he was saying. But the media plays with this aspect, amplifies it, even.
