Actually the two companies competed with similar designs the vickers had slightly more muzzle velocity and was designed in the uk. the bren however was a chezch design and the bren came with a 100 roung detachablepan magazine option

@Santaman93 The Bren with the 100-round pan mag was quite delicate and normally used for AA duties, and the pan-mags stopped being produced in 1941 or 42.

@bmxking46 the Vickers-Berthier was a gun very similar to the Bren produced before the war. In fact it was never issued in service, so a Bren should be in its place. It's a mistake by the Game Developers.
