  • hard crash??

  • Thumbs up if you miss Jr in the Bud car

  • @N3oNPREDATOR69 i would give u more thumbs up for that comment but youtube wont let me lol

  • @HxCUNstoppable. If it was for the back to back Busch championships he wouldn't be racing wat about Kerry Earnhardt he looks like Dale but sucks Jr was the only one who had a chance at being like Dale that's why he's popular

  • I feel bad for Jr having all that pressure just because he's not Dale people day he sucks he's a desent driver and just because he's really popular he's overrated. He can't help his popularity

  • Dale Jr. is the most overrated driver of all time.

  • @verizon20051 i dont think he is overrated, just very popular. I think most of his fans know what to expect from him lol

  • @verizon20051 Yea, overrated, but not the most overrated of all time. Back when Kyle Petty was racing, his fans picked him to when every week. He had 8 wins in a 25 year carrer, compared to Junior's 18 in 13 years.

  • Doesn't matter how it happened, if Jr hadn't wrecked at Martinsville AND didn't swear after winning at 'Dega then that championship could have in all likely hood gone to him or Kurt Busch, or anyone else for that matter. Thats why its called a twist, cuz you never see them coming unitl it happens.

  • He wouldn't have won it anyway

  • Let me guess... Jr Nation says Carl sucks ass because Dale went up into him.. Right???

  • @xJohnx228x no, this was dale's fault and his spotters mistake. I am a Jr. fan but don't consider myself in Jr. Nation, I live in the NW and think a large chunk of jr. fans are anoying myself. But we are not retarded and say crap like that. Sure, Carl could've let up or moved over, but hey, he was a rookie anyways.

  • That was jrs fault

  • @acenace24 No shit

  • What cost him the championship was his terrible driving skills...What has he done int the last 5 years???

  • @yellow1fox22 he hasnt did shit

  • @RyanTheIncredible882 thanks :)

  • This was the first year of the Chase and not only did the Chase help Kurt Busch win it but this race did as well because Gordon ended up having engine issues too.

  • @MRSYCOSQUIRREL69 whatever man millions or not hes still a worthless fuck!!!!

  • @MrBillsexton82 Whatever helps you sleep at night man.

  • I love this

  • @CJ84ktown i can see why you're pissed this was prolly the last ime you would ever see him compete for a championship that worthless fuck

  • @MrBillsexton82 hes a worthless fuck? thats why he makes millions while you call him out... obviously he s good or he wouldn't be in a car hes no kyle petty...and even kyle petty is a good racer...

  • @MRSYCOSQUIRREL69 he makes millions from selling T-shirts and hats to his fans not from racing...

  • @Osbournefan123 trust me buddy sales of merchandise does not even come close to pay for that team to race...

  • @MRSYCOSQUIRREL69 that wasn't my point... you said dale jr. is a millionaire.. that's because he gets paid for anything with his name being sold.. he makes much much more selling merchandize then he does racing.. obviously his sponsors pay for the team along with Hendrick motorsports..

  • @Osbournefan123 ok but what is your point then? he makes money by selling shirts with his number and name. why do you care? seems like your just a jelious fan of another driver what did jr do tht was so bad? he must be a terrible buy for giving a great amount of money to charities and making dreams come true for young fans like every other driver...

  • I heard nothing from Jr's spotter :/ I should've of heard somebody going 'outside, still at your bumper'. This and his wreck at Martinsville the week before cost him the championship.

  • jr sucks ass

  • Dale Jr. haters fail to notice the sucess he had in the 8 car from 2000-2006. He was known as one of the top guns back then. Too bad Teresa Earnhardt destroyed the 15 and 8 cars teams.

  • Jr.: 6 wins, 16 top 5s, 21 top 10s.

    Kurt Busch: 3 wins, 12 top 5s, 21 top 10s.

If only he didn't swear at victory lane in Talladega.

  • I remember being at this race, and jr was probably going to win (he was fast as hell at the end) I was sittin at the line, and when I saw the 8 car wrecked goin to the garage, my heart crashed, and the chance of a championship down the drains.... :(

  • carl edwards: ruening championships since 2006

  • @DialgaRules24 idk looks to me like jr creeped right up into him

  • @DialgaRules24 Earnhardt Jr. fucked himself over. He drove up into Edwards. He should have made sure he was clear first before driving up on him.

Or he could have just held position and kept the points, seeing as there was only 15 laps to go.

  • @DialgaRules24 its 15 laps to go dude, edwards isnt goin to let him in just cuz his name has earnhardt in it. jr did it to himself, with that, and cussing on tv. so dont blame someone else when your driver screws himself over

  • @amescher100 i dont even like Jr. he sucks ass in NASCAR

  • @DialgaRules24 A man who's sitting 3rd in the most elite racing series this country has to offer is a suck ass driver? Your logic.. sucks ass. :)

  • @chevyred427 i have to admit, he is having a pretty good year this year, but it's almost all in the cr4ew chief in today's NASCAR.

  • is that a slide whistle at 0:35

  • Ok so he is a horrible driver when he is 3rd in points -19 back from the points leader and has not finshed worst than 12th after the 500

  • Jr should of been 2004 champion but this really screwed him over he could of got 2nd or even 1st then he won dega and said it bad word I was at that dega race

  • This and Martinsville the week before cost him the championship. 2 33rd place finishes, and just about every other chase race was a top 10 finish, including 2 wins! Take away these two races, Dale Earnhardt Jr would've been your 2004 champion!

  • First, that wasn't that hard.

Second, this didn't cost him the championship. What cost him the championship was the fact that he was (and still is) an absolutely horrible driver.

  • @MutatedSpleen How can he be a horrible driver if he was contending for a championship?

  • @10ace11 Because he's now racing for the powerhouse dominant team that craps out championships, and he's won one race with them in like, what, 5 years? Just because you contend for a championship once or twice (and lose) doesn't mean you are a good driver.

  • @MutatedSpleen yes it does. Hell it takes a good driver just to be in the top 20 in points.... it takes a good driver just to be in NASCAR's big 3 series. Not really a Dale Jr fan here, but just saying it how it is. People have no right calling any of these guys "bad drivers."

  • @erasetoimprove Okay, sorry, I was vague. I never meant to be comparing Dale Jr. to a "normal" driver. I meant to compare him to "race" drivers. And in the grand scheme of racing drivers, he really isn't that great. He's had a few peaks, but ultimately, I like to compare him to Mark Martin. He's definitely got his moments, but he'll more than likely never win a championship. Compare him to other race drivers, and I would wager he'd lose well over 50% of the time. This includes CTS and NW.

  • @MutatedSpleen actually I consider Mark Martin a better driver =D

  • @erasetoimprove Oh, absolutely I do too. I just meant they are of the same class, more or less. I mean, be honest...at this point, Mark probably will never win a title. He may get a few more wins, but I legitimately cannot see him winning a championship. Nor can I see Dale Jr. That's all I meant by that.

  • @MutatedSpleen I wish a good team would give one of the Labonte brothers another shot. They deserve it more than anyone else out there. I am happy to have gotten to see them both win a championship. I know Terry won two, but his first was a year before I started watching NASCAR

  • That hood got popped up in a weird position.

  • One of my happiest moments in Nascar. This guaranteed that Jr wouldn't go any further that year. The most over-rated driver in Nascar. Life is perfect when he's wadded up against the safer barrier, and claiming another DNF, or at best, a finish somewhere between 28th and 32nd, where he usually runs. He's only up front when he takes 2 to everybody's 4, or he misses his pit box! Amazing he still amasses a fan base. Pathetic.

  • If only that didn't happen.

If only he didn't swear at Talladega.

    If only.....if only......

  • it looked like when in forza 3 you can see the skid marks ahead of the tires during a replay

  • Everyone wants to blame Edwards, when clearly Jr came up on him. Stupid Jr fans.

  • @MartianMan52 I think it's no ones fault. Junior just got loose.

  • @MartianMan52 When speaking of racing incidents he regretted the most a couple of years ago, he said he regretted this wreck the most. He knows he cost Junior the championship and regrets it.

  • He'll probably get a few more wins, yes. As long as he stays with it. It's been 2 1/2 years since his last and I'm sure anybody who's gone that long without a win is questioning whether or not they should stay. I like Jr, he's a great guy and humble. But at some point you have to know where you stand. Not even Hamlin could dethrone Johnson...

  • I don't understand why people argue about this crash, other than besides the fact that it was Jr. who crashed and how popular he was at the time. It couldn't be more clear of a common racing mistake. He got underneath Carl in the corner, passed him, thought he was clear out of 2 but was not by ever so little. Get over it. Jr just doesn't have any intensity or drive or fire to win or even run well anymore. He should retire from racing and be a full time owner.

  • @masterbasser24 Dont say that every driver has a time were things get rough and thats what jr going through he can still win trust me however i don't think he should sign back on with hendricks after 2011 unless him and letarte are a good combination and he has a good season.

  • @Civiprotection i didn't intend for my comment to be so blunt but i dont think there was any way around it. It seems that he has slipped into that slump in 2005, just like Gordon did, but Gordon came out of it...Jr never did....He's where he is because of his name, Earnhardt, but the fact is that he'll never be the multichampionship winner that everybody wants him to be. Racing isn't exactly his thing. He should move into ownership.

  • @masterbasser24 I hear where your coming from hes not his daddy and unfortunetly thas what alot of people are expecting him to be. Alot of things happened to him the death of his dad and i think the one thing that scared him the most was the crash at infinion. I hope he can get a couple more wins and mayby a championship before hes done hes got time who knows mayby next year well see him picking himself back up?

  • I always knew I liked Carl Edwards.

  • that is what we call the Jr. FAIL. lol

  • its funny edwards gets pissed when drivers dont give him room, but he sure as hell cant "give and take" himself!

  • oh well who cares wasnt that bad a crash anyway. plus if it wasnt for daddy, hed never been racing.

  • And it's been downhill ever since.....what a shame.

  • LOL! hate dale jr

  • of course it was edwards!!

  • @SpeedZoneTV2 dude if you look Earnhardt thought he was clear started to move up Edwards was there Earnhardt Hooked on Edwards bumper and spun

  • If Jr gets penalized 25 points at '04 Dega for swearing, then Kyle Busch should get penalized for calling Denny Hamlin a motherfucker on national tv.

  • @RyDogRidesTheBus

No dude Jr said that on TV Kyle was talkin on the radio. What you say on the radio is free domain it's an unwritten rule in nascar you can drop the f bomb 10 million times a race on the radio nascar doesn't care.

  • I like jr, but this is one of my favorite calls by the announcers ever.

  • Dale's fault....

  • All jr. he cost him self a championship

  • Greatest moment of 2004 watching Jr crash :D.

  • well, what do you know....Carl Edwards taking out people at Atlanta.

  • Jr. took himself out by moving up into Edwards...

  • this cost him the championship and Jrs mouth a talladega

  • @Brodeur303030 I agree. He probably would've been the 2004 champ had Jr. shut his mouth at 'Dega, and didn't have bad luck races like this. Another I remember was Darlington. I think he blew the engine, or something.

  • @Brodeur303030 His mouth at 'Dega was what started all of this bad luck with Jr.

  • @nascarfanatic2425 that was the day nascar really let down dale jr and said fine i wont race hard any more and u can watch ur fan base go to shit.... guess they are kicking them self in the butt for handing out that punishment now!

  • @TOPGUNCANADA00 I wouldn't go that far. Dale's struggles aren't fixed, he's actually been struggling. I really don't think Jr.'s even that that bad of a driver really; I think it just all plays into the effect of running Jr. Motorsports (I know Kyle and Harvick can make it work, but it works differently for different people) and being the #3 driver at HMS out of 4 people. If you remember, Kyle Busch wasn't much at HMS either, when he was the #3 guy. He had good runs, but only 4 wins.

  • i bet carl edwards first words when he spun him were HE GONE!

  • thats alright just remember there was a time when people couldnt get to their feet fast enough to boo Earnhardt Sr...now they drive around with #3 bumper stickers

  • @dbeezycentex

Yeap same with the Jeff Gordon haters

Fuck them man, there good racers.

  • dont you ever say that

  • agrred with you'

  • cant blame jr or any driver for any wrecks. there all clearly great drivers. theres only 43 of them out of how man billion people in the world, and only 43 of them are good enough to race every sunday

  • Instead of Junior getting wrecked by another driver, now he's so bad that he can do it by himself.

  • he is an expert at wrecking himself and others at times

he makes it seem so easy to wreck

  • the birth of carl edwards just watch talladega fall 08 and spring 09

  • lol jr's fault , i would like him better if he was more like his father but wen he tries to be he wrecks everyone like at daytona

  • he probably would have won this race, and would have had enough momentum to win the championship

  • this championship had the most contenders I think.

  • still pissed over this, cost him the championship

  • yea junior was awesome in 04

  • @CJ84ktown right if this didnt happen he would have won the championship but edwards bein jealous wrecks him.

  • @CJ84ktown that was his best shot that season then punk ass kurt busch won it!!! =/

  • @CJ84ktown you and me both
