@pundipedal The V6 starts at 22k and the 5.0 is at 32K$. For well below 50k you can get the 5.0 fully loaded. The GT500 is at around 55K and 65K if you want it fully loaded. Just lettin you know the prices out there, Mr. Money bags. "I rather spend 50k or more on a V8". 22k to start is a lot of money for all that power?

I went for the V6 because you can't beat 305hp and over 30mpg. The 412hp of the V8 is nice, but where would you use that power other than on a track? So, if you don't race them, then why drive a car with lesser mileage? Just to say you have a V8? Nah, these 2011 V6s give you power and great mileage, nice package.
If you don't need/want the awesome V8 with the legendary 5.0 motor, buy a V6 or a 2010 V8 with 315 hp (still faster than 2011 V6 ;), and less mpg (~21).
At the end of the day, buy what looks and feels better to you.

So without that, the 11' V6 stock engine is equivalent to the 2010 GT engine without an intake. Only difference is the V8 gives up 10mpg. The 5.0 is great, but don't knock the V6 because before this new 5.0 came back, a GT V8 with 300hp was awesome, now that a V6 has 300hp it is suddenly seen as weak. That is ridiculous to me...

Still I'd rather buy a V8 Mustang than a V6 one.
If I spend a lot of money on anything, I always save enough and then buy it, but then I buy something good.
I rather spend 50'000$ or more on a V8 or a GT500 than just 35'000$ and buy a V6.
Have all or have nothing.
Because if you buy the V6, the next time you see a V8 or a GT500 you're jealous as hell and you can't enjoy your V6 anymore, and that's a pity.

There you pay about 42'000 $ for a V6 and the V8 for 50'000 $.
The GT500 is much more expensive. It is about 100k - 120k.
And that's why I said: "[...] 50'000$ä or more [...]".
Because if you buy a V6 and after three or five years sell it, why haven't you directly bought a V8?
That's why I'm driving a VW Golf IV for five years now, and some years later, I own all the money I need for a GT500!

Did anyone notice the front bumper? It's a Roush bumper! I went on Ford website...the V6 bumper is different the one in commercial. That's the bumper they should have put on the GT! The commercial definately gets your attention! Love the new 5.0!

@bloodsukr13 sure, chevy made some great camaros back in like 95-02 but now its 2011. theres a new top dog. check out the reviews and the tests by car and driver and the others. dont you think there was a reason chevy stopped making the camaro for 8 years and the current model's release was delayed 2 years? theres a reason for everything and unfortunatelly, the reason was because everybody was buying mustangs. no wonder why the mustang is the worlds most popular sports car.

@bloodsukr13 the new camaro is fantastic too, and wait, what's this? they have the same HP rating? Too bad the mustang out tests the camaro over and over again, and the interior in the new camaro is not even close in quality to the new mustang's IMO.
Don't get me wrong, I love both cars, and thing the new Camaro SS is awesome. but... mustang>camaro.

@bloodsukr13 hahaha, don't worry, I couldn't say a bad thing about the camaro if i wanted to, they ARE gorgeous cars as well. The only REAL complaint that i had about the new camaros was the visibility, but, it's more of an issue for me, cause i'm 6'7", and i have issues with ALOT of cars because of my height...
