Note the similarities to MS accessories - why do you think that is?! As for 'crappy' - words fail me. This was 1984! It allowed user-friendly home publishing for the first time. Very important.

the Mac was landmark--a huge paradigm shift. but i guess you had to be there to appreciate it. this clip is priceless history.
