I just wonder how the FOX guys didn't go on about Robby - Seeing it the first time I would've been most concerned about him - Tony's car could've beheaded Robby
that is really weird that they did the whole "testament to safety" speech and used a dale earnhardt cutaway car 25 laps before his death, and rusty wallace has a lot of damage, its amazing he was all the way at the front for that tragic scene at the end.
@C0LL1N I agree. Very Ironic that they use the #3 as the cutaway car touting safety. It didn't take long for them to totally debunk what they thought safe meant.
@pwnzor3000 lol after i replied to your comment i went to your channel and seen your dp was jr and stuff, i figured someone else may have said that, i recognized your channel name too so it was peculiar to see lol. i recommend changing your password if thats a possible problem. make sure to sign out too when you leave your computer.
@pwnzor3000 if i can help i can tell you how people hack other people in a PM (im not a hacker and im not saying that i can tell you how to hack others)
very creepy listening to jeff hammond talk about how safe the cars are built now for the drivers safety, and knowing dale sr will die in this race...VERY CREEPY
Dale's death was a one in a million thing... any one element happens differently, and he may have survived. The cars were safer than they ever were that day, but Dale's death was the blow to the gut that NASCAR needed to make them even safer still. It was so sad to loose Dale, but it was necessary for the future safety of the sport. Because nobody since has died in a Sprint Cup, Grand National, or Truck series machine.
I know it sounds weird me saying this, but it would have been real nice if you could see Dale Earnhardt Talking about how he got nailed in the side in this accident,
6:20, when he is praising NASCAR about how safe the car is, and he says its the safest car in the world at that time. it's a black #3 GM Goodwrench car. he says its the safest car in the world at that time. and just a couple of hours later the driver of that car would die of a simple hit into the wall. thats both a sad kind of IRONIC and creepy.
@theoriginalshew even more ironic is that Dale Sr. said during the red flag for this accident that "If they don't change the way we race here, someone is going to get killed"
i think this is the start of stewart's shoulder injuries. in the then busch series when he flipped @ tallagega, cup and busch @ lowes the same weekend crashed he was transported to a local hospital for shoulder pain. there is another one but i cant thin of it.
I sure wish Big E was in that wreck but at the time I was glad he was not. He may still be with us today if he got caught up in that one instead of the last one of that race.
Hope Martin takes the cup this year. I used to love to hate him but somehow it seems to me he has a connection to Dale in my eyes.
Don't blame the car it was solely caused by the lack of a HANS device. And the new cars aren't any safer than the old ones. The safety is all in the roll cage and the HANS. not designing car bodies that look like space shuttles..
How ironic that Jeff talked about safety, even going as far as to say "safest in the world" and on the final lap Dale died. Also ironic is the fact that the cutaway car is Earnhardt's car.
anyone else think its a little ironic that jeff hammond is pointing out safety features on one of earnhardts cars? look closely u can see the the GM logo on the good, and the top half of the 3 on the roof...i never noticed that before
yall see rustys wrecked car on pit road? He finished 3rd in this race. albiet it was damaged in one of the least most aero dependant part on the car :)
add Ron Hornaday to the list because he had right front side damage
