Aid only benefits one side because the damaged nation typically cannot pay back the deficit to the country giving aid (typically for profit) and therefore the damaged country must sell back their goods and resources at a fraction of the cost they should be, making them reliant on more aid to fill in the economic gaps that should have been filled with the predicted prices of those goods/ resources.

Russia was never communist, because communism doesn't work, or at least Government communism doesn't work. Voluntary communism might work for a while until every gets pissed off for not washing the dishes. Russia was, and probably still is a fascist dictatorship, similar to what America is becoming today.

If the government provides all of your needs, then what's your incentive to work? The communist answer to this is only through brute force and putting a gun to your head and making you work. Russia was never communist, because communism doesn't work, or at least Government communism doesn't work. Voluntary communism might work for a while until every gets pissed off for not washing the dishes. Russia was, and probably still is a fascist dictatorship, similar to what America is becoming today.

I support freedom, people being free to choose, start businesses, start voluntary organisations, start community gardens, start caring for each other, etc. Only the idea's of pure freedom can deliver a peaceful society. Only TRUE free market capitalism can deliver peace, but not many people understand free markets, they get it confused with greed.

They have no understanding of free market economics and think that they have to regulate everything to protect people. This is completely false, it is far better to have many organisations helping people than a single monopoly that needs to steel. People who steal are rarely responsible.

I'm an atheist but I fucking hate communism. When I try and compare communism and facsism, I don't see much of a difference. If the government provides all of your needs, then what's your incentive to work? The communist answer to this is only through brute force and putting a gun to your head and making you work. Profit doesn't come from government sanctioned programs, but from individual success.

There's two main problems with Communism as it is. People grow accustomed to absolute power. The dictatorship of the proletariat ended up being another version of the same problem. Thus the transition from the socialist state to the final, ideal classless communist society could thus never happen. People do not work at their optimum performance, since they are given only according to their needs. The economy grows stagnant.

I am no expert in third world countries but here in the US, the poor are so because they aren't thrifty. They fall for all those ripoff car loans and never save even though they can. In a country where the property is owned by the producers. who is gonna assure that they all get the same? what will be the criterion for how much each person is getting? who is gonna control these criterions?
It will end up with struggles between the people because of human greed of cravings beyond the subsistence level. And if there will be a government that control these criterions, then the government needs profit for its existance = capitalism. Therefore communism doesn't work
