Coldplay is admittedly, not one of the most accessible of bands to listen to. But, listen to them and you'll catch on to their what I once considered nonsensical singing...how wrong I was. Anyway, their older albums is what I remain loyal to, while Viva is to me a successful attempt at re imagining themselves.

Although I truly LOVE coldplay, I wouldnt claim it's the best group in the world. Their main achievement has indeed been to find a great sound and a soul without being much technique or creativity...

Coldplay is a great group because it's accessible, but it will never be comparable to pink floyds or radiohead, which are less "all round" but truly amazing as far as creativity, self-questioning and magic...

Agreed that Amsterdam is a must; it just cheer one up!
