  • Amazing. I did the same thing a number of years ago with a coldwater native marine aquarium i.e. the stuff you get at your local rock pools. I managed to obtain 20 dogfish purses and sure enough they matured....but I had to cut them open myself (I think in nature the sea movement breaks them open?). It was amazing to watch. The youngsters were returned to a local rock pool here in Ulster.

  • Hi, i'm afraid that would be too small. They can reach over 2' in length and are very active. Minimum tank size is around a 150G
