As a Boxing fan I am going to sincearly miss Setanta.

I mean as innit27 rightlly states no other channel gave such in depth coverage of boxing.

I hope some other network picks up Steve Bunce Boxing hour.

As soon as they shut down i reduced my virgin media package to medium Setanta was the only reason i had the XL package

i'm still gutted . and if Sky think i'm going to pay nearly 15 pounds to watch Khan Kotelnik NO CHANCE . Ill just listen to the fight on radio and satisfy with watching Mackintosh v Cleverly on ITV4 . I hate paying the license fee to the bbc when they've totally abandon boxing

i don't get why itv can't purchase some rights to boxing matches, sirely they have enough money and even if the viewing figures are low to start with they will increase as fighters personalities become better known!!!!

damn shame the boxing hour has gone, i can only call myself a casual fan but i was always watching on here when vids got uploaded. If ITV picked up a magazine show at least and stuck it on ITV2 at a good time and online i think it would still get decent viewing figures.

Disappointed to lose Setanta.

Sky are a bunch of ar$eholes who charge through the roof if you want to watch premium sports. Who wants to pay £50/month for all those cr@ppy channels that come with it!

Just give me Sky sports only at a fair rate (£20/month?)

BBC = no pro boxing

ITV = very little pro boxing

C5 - early hour repeats of old old US boxing shows

Sky - very little boxing and dont want a dish

there is room for a boxing channel as i mainly got Setanta for the boxing

thanks, wooodya i'll miss bunce's rants and his inside info on the sport that is lacking on this side of the pond in Canada. He brought interviews with Brits like Froch, Haye and more and then he had some good American guests that had some interesting boxing news.

I hope another show picks him up.
