  • I stumbled on your song while searching for the old folk song "The Rowan Tree." Glad you found your "Witch of the North." Good witches rock! ;)

  • Great!!

  • My name is Rowan and as most people do i was just looking up my name, trying to find meanings and i NEVER even new that people had written songs about the Rowan tree, that i was named after, though your song is obviously related to the tree not the name and i never new that people used the Rowan tree to keep witches away :D when i was little there was a Rowan tree planted outside my house which is one of the reasons i got my name maybe the tree was there for witches, but anyw i love the song :D

  • That's a great story Rowan @puppy1051 I'm glad you enjoyed your song. Perhaps you'll sing it yourself one day.

  • Very artfully done, a fine ballad, were the lyrics inspired by the wizard of oz at all? Definitely inspirational. From one bard to another, well done!

  • The Rowan tree seems to be the most popular of my own songs here on youTube. But some people may be looking for the traditional Scottish folk song with a similar name "Oh Rowan Tree".

  • Just great,loved it

  • i like it sir.
