I can see where the country is coming from in taxing junk food, though I don't think they have a clear definition of what junk food is. For instance, on their last food taxing bill (didn't pass) they thought it was a good idea to tax luna bars... but then they DIDN'T tax Red vines licorice. It doesn't make sense.
I AGREE... if they are going to tax something, DONT tax a piece. tax all of it. all!
they think the obesity is the problem, but I find it to be like the pills from commercials, "yes, tak this pill to get rid of colestorel but in the mean time you might get aids, ........and die" hope you get my point. if they tax the "bad" stuff how many other problems will it cause? the first problem to my head is JOBS!
