It's unfortunately true that a lot of us are so caught up in our lives that we don't stop and do special things for ourselves that make us happy. I'm going to start setting little goals like how you suggested.

i would suggest Star Girl, its for ages 10 and up, but i read it when i was like 12 and im older now obviously but i think it kind of relates to The Happiness Project by what you are summarizing it by, it did leave a mark on me though to this day, if you havent read it even though youre older now, it may be easy but i would completely suggest it, its such a good book i would re-read and im in high school, its relates to everyone in a different way, check it out! xoxx

I really agree with the declutter one. I had a new years resolution this year that I was going to keep my room organized to a certain degree. And it helps SO much, it saves so much time when you know where things are, and you feel less mentally cluttered if that makes sense.

so this isn't the sort of book i would immediately suggest for you, but i think you'd enjoy the challenge - northanger abbey by jane austen. i read it recently and was so surprised at how light and funny it was, but it's jane austen! it's a love story about a young girl in a new city who dreams and fantasizes, imagining her life is all dramatic when really it's not. there's friendship drama and love scandals and a cute
