A VR4 with 500hp has way more torque than an Evo with the same hp, plus less turbo lag.

the evo has MR, RS and GSR trims but no VR-4?

Because it doesn't even come close to what the VR-4 is capable of

@mack1381 I love VR4s but unless you chuck £20,000 at a VR4 you're never going to get more than approx 320-350bhp out of one. Evos have a much greater power to weight ratio than a VR4 so will always be quicker for comparable cars. VR-4s are amzing cross-country though and you can get more in the boot of a Legnum than any Evo :)
