Triggers are piezo switches that pick up vibrations off the head and sends the signal out through a drum brain, it plays a sample every time it picks up a vibration depending on it's set sensitivity, and evens out the softest/hardest hits depending on what the user wants.

A trigger is not a miracle cheating device to achieve faster double bass, nor can it give your heads a clear sound. -____-

D00d... really ... trigers at that point ? seriously when you're doing quads I can hear clearly that it's not tight , you should try one cover without trigers and see what happen , I'm sure that we will be less aware of your errors and the sound is gonna be more natural than that click sound... and maybe you don't care but the intro isn't as shown on the "Matt greiner playing live" videos it's a little more difficult listen carefully to the song :P
