  • Not bad!! I like this!

  • Thank you so much for doing this series of videos. They have given me an awesome amount of practical training, more than I have received in the past several years. It is very hard to find good information without breaking the bank on video sets and online courses. I will make sure that I support your efforts and buy PI on DVD. Again, Thank You.

  • At 0:30, I actually went to click "undo" after you made that spot.

  • Fantastic animation video and podcasts !

I cant thank you enough for all your good tips and advises. Going to buy your DVD for sure. And looking forward to see the next from you.

  • i saw this at the redstick festival for my field trip

  • have you ever try to use zbrush for modelin, its like 1000 times faster than edge extude modeling

  • A quick question from one XSI user to a Maya user:

To me it looks like the "shadow map" that Lucas is referring to is the equivalent to Maya's innate ambient occlusion. Am I right about that or is he referring to depth map shadows?

  • So important video, thanks Lucas, you are amazing

  • My compliments man!!!! Excelent work, thanx to you!!!

  • very nice work.....

  • so good btw do u have freelancer account ?

i wanna deal with you :)

  • @poi2day

    softimage

also a lot called xsi which is the old name

  • Oh come on! I just found your podcast and now you just quit?! xD Haha, thanks for all the tips and vids!! =)

  • Just watch Pigeon impossible followed by your entire series back to back. Thank you for all your time an effort. A great piece of animating followed by genuinely useful advice.

I am using Daz 3d so at the bottom end of programs, but I can still use a lot of your advice. I guess the key thing is planning, both before animating the movie and rendering - anything to save time!

  • You are a creative genius and I thank you for sharing your work, ideas and creations. I'm a big fan!

    Marc Martin

  • really cool! thanks =)

  • This really helped!: D thankyou!

  • Alright I watched pigeon impossible. thought it was sick than i watched everyone of your blogs. I'm just amazed i want to get into this but i have no idea where to start. Also why not working for pixar or something yet. You could start your own film company though. Congrats josh

  • Thank you very much for all the podcasts!

All of them are a pleasure to follow and highly didactic.

That listen to critics point you mentioned is indeed very important. I like to think that if someone says anything else then "WOW!" it's because there's something wrong, but it sure is a pain decide whether to change it or not :) It's a very known feeling. But I surely wouldn't abide of the constructive critics over the internet, they are a "tool" as good as any 3D application :)

  • This is one of my favorite podcasts. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience!

  • good luck on your next film i look towards it, please say something about it on this youtube channel so i will know about it

good luck, continue the great work

  • Excellent points, really helpful especially the action scene parts you were talking about.

One question - Will you be doing podcasts for future projects???

  • The podcasts alone made the purchase for me, looking forward to seeing the bonus content and being able to show it to all my friends :)

Good luck on your next film!!

  • I really enjoyed everything. Thanks. I'll try to buy your DVD. Thanks for everything.

  • I really enjoyed this podcast! It was very rewarding to watch and learn alot about CGI. Although, I only use it as a special effect, it is still important to learn from what you have taught us. Thankyou. I can't wait to see your next project!

  • Excelente.. gracias x tomarte el tiempo de darnos estos detalles...

  • are you going to more on this channel
