  • Best FNM song!

  • At 2:23 you can see him landing on his back after doing another flip. Hell yeah !

  • 2:04 hahaha fuckig crazy asshole

  • @skavacations Hence all his back issues. Gotta love the man

  • did patton ever have vocal cords problems? I don't think so but just want to know!

  • apparently they played this at the original brixton show, but i can't find footage anywhere.

  • they did, I have it on VHS

  • any chance you could put it up. i'd love to see it.

  • This is fucking wicked

  • Listen, man, I know That things are really rough And everybody gets you And life is really tough But I know that deep down inside Theres a feeling that rides All the way to the end Thursday you sit in your room with the lights turned out And you dont answer the door Friday morning looks sunny and bright Like its going to be a good day And it would be if only you had a job Time is on your side, youre young Dont waste your time today
  • One day youre thinking that maybe youre feeling better

And youre probably an ok person, if only you had a job...

Through the hollow tombs can see them

Through their mouths I can hear them praying for pain

    But its only a game

  • Just Mike Patton really trying to drive the point home.

  • The quality of this video really isn't that great. As of the upload I couldn't find ANY video whatsoever of the song, and patton's performance here is absurd! Thus the upload.

  • patton is my favourite S&M

  • Tú eres la actitud pura

  • amazingly insane

  • puta el tema weon ooooo

y lo canta como con odio

el mejor cantante para mi es Mke Patton

  • clerksfan4life there is a better version different gig but good quallity video type in fnm at brixton & go 2 as the worm turns awsum gig

  • The vid quality is a little rubbish but this song is awesome no matter how I hear it!

  • 2:04 jajajajjaaj, Patton is a genious!

  • time is on, yourside, you are young, dont waste your time ,today..... kewl advice from mike patton..

  • Those are actually Chuck Mosely's lyrics but they're the shit either way

  • I was at this show in 93' at the warfield...18 yr old mosh pit ass kickin fool I was!!! If you look real hard, you'll see me (I got the purple hat on with a big M on it)

  • Hahahah gotta love those flips!

Great song, great band, great singer... Need I say more?

  • the vocal seems a donkey when sings!

  • Fuck the naysayers! Long live Patton and the gang!

  • Quality

  • PATTON...HE'S A GOD!!

  • How is this any better? It sounds like hell. Its just less nasally and more screechy

  • so much fuckin passion in performance - complete mad genius -- the hottest guy alive.

  • jesus h fucking christ that's good shit. Patton is effin awesome but so is the rest of the band. They always seem to get forgotten.

  • That is one of my favorite FNM songs, sweet! Thanks for this.

  • that flip did hurt, he does it to get the right pitch in the song :P

  • ace!

  • he does it right at the end too! that guy is a fuckin nutcase! thats why we love him though! lol

  • Hmmm... yeah, fourlayers, but it just wouldn't be the same if Patton would have done it.

    And that flip... ouch =/

  • Goes to show any original sang by Chuck Mosely is actually much better by Mike Patton

  • oh yeh and the korn stuff, they probs thought they had some sort of right, puffy did fill in for them once : (

  • Sadly enough. It wouldn't really bother me if people weren't always saying, Oh Serj's voice is so original! Really. Damn Puffy for filling in for the same type of band he'd make fun of.

  • ahh come on, if people didnt steal shit from other peoples music where would we be? fucked thats where. some people just take a bit and dont put there own thing on top of it, like manson and be obsence, now that was a fucking rip off, he might aswell have just covered it.he better give thanks in the album or something

  • exactly. i remember reading interviews of guitarists saying, "i dont know or learn songs from any other artists because i'm true to myself and want to develop my own style". Bulls*it. learning music is learning what other have, and hopefully being a unique and talented enough artist to make it into something unique and better then the original.

  • Yeah, Serj Tankian's 'singing style' also takes a lot from 'The Gentle Art of Making Enemies' by FNM. He's says he's influenced by Mike, I say he's stealing every bit he can from Mike.

  • serj tankian steals LOADS of his singing style from patton... just listen to ars moriendi by mr. bungle, sometimes its almost ridiculous XD

there is also a song from frank zappa and the mothers of invention, "mother people", where you can clearly see from where daron took his singing as well.

    SOAD is a deception XD

  • Never mind System of a Down, if you're going to talk about plagiarism then surely the Lost Prophets leap to the top of the class - even the name!

  • @bbungled I also always thought Terj is influenced heavily by Jello Biafra.

  • Mike is amazing. The point isipau made about the flip was incredibly true. It looks painful, but the guy didn't miss a word and didn't even act like it hurt!

  • the words after were a scream...it could have hurt like hell lol

  • Damn... that flip looked like it hurt like hell. And he didn't even miss a word.

  • Jhonatan Davis uses the singing of Midlife crisis for all his songs.... System of a Down stole everything from fnm

  • this song fucking rocks. It's got the beat that Korn stole
