During the whole game Rayman Origins, I used all the other characters, all of them being funny, cute, stylish and all. And great time I had, 1000/1000 the whole game which is extremely unusual of me. Will do it again someday, that good game this is, even with a stupid dork Rayman in it.
This game is my favourite 2011 game by far, haven`t had this much fun with games in years, and I play a lot.
I was not going to pick it up at first though, since the character of Rayman irritates me. He is ugly and not funny. Many of my friends and online friends feel the same as I did, they dont feel like picking this game because of the stupid looking main character. I did play the original Rayman a little, 15 years ago or so, and I hated him back then too.
I'm in the final parts of the game, and it's nearly impossible! But that's why i love this game! It challenges me, and when i get past a hard level, i get proud. That's what videogames should feel like! I give this game a 10/10!

UbiSoft, I sincerely support your decision to port this to PC and to even cut the price. But I haven't forgotten what you did with From Dust's DRM. I partly support what you did there, but I also don't want to leave the impression I'm fine with your DRM.
So if I don't buy this game even now although I'm very interested, don't blame it on piracy or some sort of dying PC industry. The devs did great. The publishing department is costing UbiSoft sales.
@yeehaw789 I know they ported it (that's when I wrote the message), but I still haven't forgotten about UbiSoft's DRM and I don't want them to think I approve of it. It's more important for me to send out that signal than to play a game I really, really look forward to.

Why aren't this things in Rayman origins if they were in the trailer? Or with this trailer happens the same that happened with Rayman 4 (raving rabbids)? Please, someone answer me.
@LEtheCreator I know there's a boss that looks similar to the one in the trailer in the land of the living dead, but it's not the same boss. In the final game, the boss is in the middle of a bath of lava and not surrounded by flies, for example XD But thanks for your answer. But I still have the same question ^_^U
@Persegan The golem, pink monster, area where Rayman was born, the background at the part where Rayman and Globox and those blue flies are in the game. Most of the stuff got relocated though, and they decided to make this game a sequel instead of a prequel.

@Persegan I was looking forward to the wind power too, but its not in the game and neither are the ants. IDK if they'll make another Rayman Origins, but it would be cool if they did. The game is very good as is, but that power would've made it even better imo.
Ill buy this in pc without hesitation at starting price if is ever ported. Rayman taught me how to ride a frying pan downhill back in 1996, and ill owe him that forever.

@mmp12g they cut a lot of stuff before launch because they felt the story was too complicated or something like that. probably arrive as dlc in the future though. Still an outstanding game though
Go to the TOYS R US website. The game is listed for $19.99 as of 01.08.2012. I called my local store and they matched their online price. A lot better than paying the retail price of $59.99.

I'm gonna disagree with 'anyone can play it and be good' because Portal was designed with that very phrase in mind and I'd like to think that it's a pretty good game...for an fps.
I kinda figured this game was doing bad when there were still plenty of copies left around Christmas-time at virtually every major retailer. But you know what? That's generally a sign that it's really good. The masses just clamor for sameness (I bet Resident Evil 37 will sell a million copies in preorder alone), so when a truly original, beautiful game like this comes out, it sadly goes unnoticed. Give it time, and this will be considered a classic.

Everything about this game is an absolute joy to behold. It is beautiful, has great music, it's funny, the level design is fast paced and non-repetitive, and the co-op is dead simple and loads of fun. If you're a rayman fan, this is an absolute must. If you've never heard of rayman, I'd strongly urge you to give this a try.
Never gave a damn about Rayman until I played this. It's fun, fast paced, loaded with personality, the level design makes it a joy to play through; Basically everything the old Rayman wasn't. It's a crime that it's apparently selling poorly.

I have been a Rayman fan for as long as I can remember, and I love all the games for their different unique styles, setting, and storyline. The problem with Origins? What the hell IS the storyline? I'm having a hard time rating this game relative to the older games in the series, due to the complete lack of any storyline or explanation to what is going on. And I own ever game and have played through each.

@mmp12g they cut a lot of stuff before launch because they felt the story was too complicated or something like that. probably arrive as dlc in the future though. Still an outstanding game though

it highly disgusts me how the world of gaming has changed. gaming use to be almost a portal of escape to imaginary worlds like rayman origins. but gaming is now just over run with online based fps titles that involve no skill or imagination. cod? worst game ever made imo. anyone can play it and be good and the game is so poorly made they use the visuals and fast paced gameplay to make you think its good. those games sell millions and actual games like rayman origins get left in the dust

@TVBlackandWhite brainless? to play battlefield you need skills vehicle skills and tactics plus has epic story! it's much fun rayman might be good i played 3 and 2 like 5 years ago it was cool but this is what real gaming is ONLINE! offline gaming is fun aswell sometimes but i prefer online! takes more skill? i don't think so you haven't even tried BF3! the online vehicle warfare is more epic than cod i mean can you fly jets in cod? @xxjokr122 the only way you can say about bf3 of its "innovation" is the realism but the realism was achieved through trial and error. they were more improvements than actual re imaginings of how a game can be. and all this war shit is just pure popularity. if every dick and jane can pick it up and play its apparently a good game but if you go back to even just the ps2/xbox/gamecube "era" it was all about the exclusives and creativity. now all the "good" games are out for them all

I kinda figured this game was doing bad when there were still plenty of copies left around Christmas-time at virtually every major retailer. But you know what? That's generally a sign that it's really good. The masses just clamor for sameness (I bet Resident Evil 37 will sell a million copies in preorder alone), so when a truly original, beautiful game like this comes out, it sadly goes unnoticed. Give it time, and this will be considered a classic.

Everything about this game is an absolute joy to behold. It is beautiful, has great music, it's funny, the level design is fast paced and non-repetitive, and the co-op is dead simple and loads of fun. If you're a rayman fan, this is an absolute must. If you've never heard of rayman, I'd strongly urge you to give this a try.

Never gave a damn about Rayman until I played this. It's fun, fast paced, loaded with personality, the level design makes it a joy to play through; Basically everything the old Rayman wasn't. It's a crime that it's apparently selling poorly.

I have been a Rayman fan for as long as I can remember, and I love all the games for their different unique styles, setting, and storyline. The problem with Origins? What the hell IS the storyline? I'm having a hard time rating this game relative to the older games in the series, due to the complete lack of any storyline or explanation to what is going on. And I own ever game and have played through each.
